Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez falsely says “that upper-middle class does not exist anymore in America†Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez recently said:“They [national Democrats] were campaigning most when we had more of an American middle class. This upper-middle class is probably more moderate but that upper-middle class does not exist anymore in America.â€The Washington Post responded with the following:“… the upper-middle class has actually grown. In a 2016 paper published by the Urban Institute, Stephen J. Rose documented that the upper-middle class has grown substantially, from 12.9 percent of the population in 1979 to 29.4 percent in 2014.â€The same Washington Post article also included this chart:...

Until just weeks ago, Hillary Clinton was the face of the Democratic Party. She was quoted ad nauseam in liberal publications, appeared regularly on MSM shows and newscasts, and, as the last Democratic nominee for president, was held up as a righteous woman wronged by the horribly wrong system (Oh, America!) But all that’s changed. The new face of the Democratic Party is a 28-year-old former bartender. On June 26, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez knocked off the No. 4 Democrat in the House in a primary in New York’s 14th Congressional District, defeating Democratic Caucus Chair Joe Crowley. Since then, she’s been...

A supermassive black hole has been found at the center of a tiny galaxy, a rare find. What makes the discovery even more unique is that it has been located in an ultracompact dwarf galaxy, stunning researchers. The findings, published in the Monthly Notices of the Royal Astronomical Society, note that the galaxy Fornax UCD3 is part of a set called ultracompact dwarfs (UCDs), a very rare set of galaxies. "We have discovered a supermassive black hole in the center of Fornax UCD3," said the study's lead author, Anton Afanasiev, in a statement. "The black hole mass is 3.5 million...

VEN (NEW YORK) — VEN‘s Senior Political Correspondent Jorge Burns ran into Democratic-Socialist rising star Alexandra Ocasio-Cortez at her favorite Starbucks in Rye Brook Monday for this VEN exclusive interview:

What a great July 4. The skies over America the Beautiful were filled with fireworks, and the Twittersphere was filled with three Democratic senators blowing themselves up. My U.S. senator Kamal Harris, Massachusetts' Elizabeth Warren and New York's Kirsten Gillibrand spent their holiday week attacking President Trump in speeches and tweets. It was rough stuff from three lefties who think they're going to be the next president and apparently think that tweeting like Trump is going to make their delusion come true. Sen. Harris of California warned her followers that Trump is planning to nominate someone who'll overturn Roe v....

New York congressional candidate Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has excited the liberal base with her media blitz touting Medicare-for-all, the elimination of ICE and more. But the Democrat's rapid-fire claims about the state of the economy and other issues have fact-checkers scrambling to provide a reality check. The Washington Post was the latest to put her myriad claims under the microscope. The newspaper took issue, for instance, with her claim that unemployment is low “because everyone has two jobs.” The Post shot this down, noting the number of people working two jobs is down from the recession -- and has remained steady...

She’s not even in Congress yet, but Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, the Democratic Party’s rising star and unapologetic socialist, endorsed a slate of candidates in last night’s primaries. While all eyes were on Ohio’s 12th congressional district, Missouri, Michigan, Kansas, and Washington also had primaries. Ocasio-Cortez endorsed Cori Bush running in Missouri’s first congressional district and Abdul El-Sayed and Fayrouz Saad in Michigan. El-Sayed and Saad were running for governor and Congress respectively; Saad was running in the Mitten State’s 11th congressional district. We’ve got about ONE WEEK LEFT until a whole slew of elections come up across the country. From @KanielaIng & @SaadforCongress...

VEN (NEW YORK) — “I am like SO HONORED!” an uncharacteristically speechless, self-proclaimed Democratic-Socialist Alexandra Octavio-Cortez told reporters, after accepting The Casey Stengel Award For Public Speaking Excellence at the El Club Cubano Interamericanol in the Bronx Sunday. “You have no idea how special this is to me! Dios Mio! Such a great man! My grandfather used to quote him to me when I was a little girl! And I have a recording of his testimony to the Asamblea Legislativa!

After Ben Shapiro invited Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez to appear on his show for a discussion, she falsely equated his invitation with “catcalling†Conservative Ben Shapiro said he would give $10,000 to Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s campaign or favorite charity if she appeared on his show for a discussion. She responded with the following tweet:“Just like catcalling, I donÂ’t owe a response to unsolicited requests from men with bad intentions. And also like catcalling, for some reason they feel entitled to one.â€Shapiro responded to that by saying, among other things:“Have you met me? Have you seen me? Do I seem like the kind of guy...

**SNIP** If there were a debate, you could probably count on Shapiro, a prominent Israel defender, to challenge Ocasio-Cortez on her harsh criticism of Israel. She described the day in May when Israeli troops killed more than 60 Palestinians, mostly Hamasniks, attempting to breach the fence with the Gaza Strip as a “massacre.” Ocasio-Cortez did not have to reply: No one expects a candidate to debate non-candidates, and her from-the-left appeal is based much more on getting out the vote than it is on persuading undecided independents or hostile conservatives. But reply she did on Thursday, and in the process...

Former NAACP president and current Maryland gubernatorial candidate Ben Jealous is demanding that television stations stop airing a commercial from his political opponent. “Evidence to the controversy” An attorney representing the Ben Jealous campaign sent a letter to four television stations telling them to pull down a political ad from incumbent Governor Larry Hogan. “The Republican Governor’s Association in this advertisement uses selective editing techniques to make the false claim that Mr. Jealous is a socialist, despite clear and repeated evidence to the controversy,” wrote James Temple Jr., which likely meant to say “evidence to the contrary.” Former NAACP president...

I keep thinking about the fact that everywhere you go, there are cemeteries. As we get more and more populated with people, more and more people will die. Eventually, I'm concerned that there will be so many dead people that we will run out of space to bury them and that they will then have to start tearing down houses of living people in order to find room to bury the dead. This might not happen in my lifetime but if it doesn't, I'll become part of the problem because they will have to find a spot to bury me....

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez says you’ll never need a funeral if we adopt single payer health care At 1:29 in this video, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez says: “Why arenÂ’t we incorporating the cost of all the funeral expenses of those who died because they canÂ’t afford access to health care? That is part of the cost of our system.â€https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xLQ7JcJEeKsSo here’s my response: Bill Gates can afford all the health care that he wants, but it won’t save him from the expense of having a funeral.

Conservative commentator Ben Shapiro challenged democratic socialist Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez to a debate, offering to donate $10,000 to her campaign if she accepted -- but it triggered a sparring match online. Shapiro initially tweeted a video on Wednesday in which he mocked Democratic National Committee chairperson Tom Perez for calling Ocasio-Cortez, a New York congressional candidate, the “future of the Democratic Party,” before issuing his challenge. “Miss Ocasio-Cortez, I’m really excited that you’ve been elevated to that position and I would love to have a real conversation with you about the issues. You’ve noted that you think Republicans are afraid to...

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is fun. No, I mean that in all sincerity; she’s a fun candidate. She’s now one of the faces of the emerging left wing of the Democratic Party. Some have even called her the future of the Democratic Party. Maybe they should slow their roll on her, but hey—a Democratic implosion of rising talent is always a fun show to watch. She’s feisty. She has her moments, but when it comes to the policy discussion for her television hits, she veers into rocky shoals. casio-Cortez is clueless on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, playing whack-a-mole concerning whether there should be...

Fox News host Laura Ingraham is again facing calls for a boycott after she lamented the country’s “massive demographic changes” due to legal and illegal immigration during her monologue Wednesday night. “In some parts of the country, it does seem like the America that we know and love doesn’t exist anymore,” the conservative said on her Fox News show “The Ingraham Angle.”
