More controversy over Miers Specter, White House at odds on her position on privacy case Tuesday, October 18, 2005; WASHINGTON (CNN) -- As the White House renewed its attempts to rally backing for Supreme Court nominee Harriet Miers, her views -- or non-views -- on a key privacy case appeared to ignite more controversy.
