David F. Rosen answer the questions about Hollywood concert 10:54 2005-05-25 Hillary Rodham Clinton's former chief fund-raiser took the stand in his own defense here on Tuesday, saying that he never intended to understate the costs of a Hollywood concert and dinner during her 2000 Senate race. Indeed, the fund-raiser, David F. Rosen, 38, described himself as a diligent foot soldier in the campaign who deferred to his superiors and was himself misled about the event's expenses by its organizers. "These costs were hidden from me," he said. "These costs were concealed for whatever reason." But during cross-examination, Peter R....

Momentum Buildsfor Sept. 24 Mass Marchin Washington DCThe importance of the mass antiwar protests being organized on September 24 is driven home by two major new stories appearing today (M ay 19). A front-page article in the New York Times, headlined "Generals Offer a Sober Outlook on Iraqi War", is further confirmation of what has become crystal clear over the past month: The U.S. war strategy is in deep crisis and there is no more a "light" at the end of the tunnel in Iraq than there was in Vietnam. Pulling back from their rosy assessments of just a...

Greetings friends, I know it has been a long while since I've posted, but LA Freepers, we need your help! The LA chapter of Protest Warrior is planning Operation: Jackpot, to counter the "mass" rally planned by the commies of ANSWER. Here is the plan so far: Allied forces (that's us) will meet at the corner of 5th St. and Olive Street (NW corner of Pershing Square) at 1130am. The protest is planned to start at high noon. If the rally is being held at 5th and Olive, then the meet up point will be 5th St. and Hill St....

On Saturday afternoon, I drove to Rockville, Md., for a large "gathering to condemn the REAL ID Act." (The act will tighten driver's license standards to prevent illegal aliens from obtaining the IDs, close asylum loopholes, and provide funding to fix a huge gap in a border fence between California and Mexico.) Casa de Maryland, a government-funded open-borders group, organized the protest on the public school athletic field at Richard Montgomery High School. You can see the rally photos I took at my new Flickr site. Here's a sample: www.flickr.com Several hundred "documented" and "undocumented" workers attended, demanding driver's licenses...

The University of Wisconsin at Madison has a history of being a harbinger for social discontent, and as such is generally unreceptive to the precepts of conservatism. The newest addition to the radical right on campus of a local chapter of an international organization called 'Protest Warrior.'Founded in the midst of the Iraq war debate, the Protest Warriors are a group than infiltrates anti-war protests and demonstrations with the intent of fulfilling their manifesto of 'arming the libert loving Silent Majority with ammo that strikes at the intellectual solar plexus of the left.'At a recent ROTC protest rally, the Protest...

Local radio hosts on WMAL Radio in Washington, DC have been up in arms the past few days over a rally being held on Capitol Hill today in support of the invasion of America by illegal aliens. One of the organizers of the rally is known as Mexicanos Sin Fronteras (MSF). Per the announcement below, there are two ways to contact MSF - email or via phone. With a little investigation, we have found that Mexicanos Sin Fronteras apparently shares its office space and telephone with:Alliance for Global Justice, Nicaragua Network, Mexico Solidarity Network, SOA Watch, and (surprise, surprise) International ANSWER.With a...

Busloads of antiwar demonstrators from a hundred American cities rallied in the District yesterday, calling for an end to the U.S.-led occupation of Iraq and demanding an immediate withdrawal of American troops. Protesters from Maine and Colorado beat drums and chanted "Bring them home and impeach Bush" as they marched past the White House and the Justice Department yesterday afternoon. Many carried homemade placards that read, "Never Prouder to be a Non-Republican" and "Bush Lied — Americans Died." Some donned fanciful costumes to underscore their views. Dr. Alan Meyers, a pediatrician from Boston, came to the rally dressed as a...

Like any other group, Communists come in a lot of shapes, sizes and colors. This time they’re wearing pink, they’re on the nightly news, and more than anything, they want the mothers and grandmothers of America to identify with them. If you didn’t know any better, you’d think the leaders of the women’s anti-war group Code Pink got lost on their way to the carpool line. Since October, these hot pink-clad "marching moms" have been spinning the same tale to reporters from coast to coast, the one about how concern for their families moved them to trade their oven mitts...

The local college republicans need your help to show our support for our troops! The protest begins at 10:30 am in Sproul Plaza, the main square on campus, and our rally begins at 11 am. Please bring signs, American flags, wear patriotic t-shirts, etc and lets show them how it's done. There will be media presence including conservative filmmaker Evan Maloney (creator of "brainwashing 101"). "You sleep under the blanket...

I'm conducting research on the protests held in Fayetteville, North Carolina on March 19, 2005. I'm very interested in talking with someone who was part of the contingent from Free Republic. (I'm only interested in talking with people who were actually physically there.) If you are willing to talk with me, please drop me an e-mail and we can set up a time to talk via telephone. I can be reached at michael.t.heaney@yale.edu. Sincerely, Michael T. Heaney

We were seperated from the main body of leftists by police. The Anarchists and communists then charged the police line to try to beat us up. It did not work.

After unseasonably sunny and nice weather for 20 days of the past 25, typical Northwest late winter/early spring conditions returned with a vengeance in time for this weekend. The forecast called for as much as 1.25" of rain, but the clouds held back their deluge from 12:30 when the W. Oregon PW's met in Portland's Pioneer Square, until all was over and done at 3:40. In between, we let the left-wing loony folk who run rampant in the streets of Liberalville know that they would not go unconfronted when spouting their hateful nonsense. Our small, spirited group met peacefully on...

ON Apr 14th, the left plans to have students walk out of class and go rally on campus. I believe that they will rally outside of a military recruiter's office and do a die-in.

On the weekend of March 19-20, the U.S. government will once again be facing worldwide protests against the illegal and brutal occupation of Iraq. In New York City, activists from various communities and struggles have formed a vibrant coalition to stop the war at home and abroad. The Troops Out Now Coalition will be marching on March 19 from Harlem to Central Park and then on to Mayor Michael Bloomberg's residence. Its literature explains: "We call this movement 'OUT NOW' because these two simple words convey the absolute zero tolerance for the occupation of Iraq that must drive our organizing...

On January 18 Rep. John Conyers Jr., Michigan Democrat, told a placard-waving anti-war crowd: "The greatest patriots of this country are here today...The president said it'd be a cold day in Washington before this country turns against this war, but it is a cold day in Washington and here we are." Apart from Conyers nasty insinuation people who disagree with his leftwing views about war against the genocidal Saddam are not patriotic, what can we deduce from his presence? Well, for one, Rep. does not like America and prefers the company of totalitarians to that of genuine democrats. And how...

TROUBLE SPEAK Ward Churchill copied 'original' art piece Takes a swing at TV reporter who confronted him -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Posted: February 26, 2005 1:00 a.m. Eastern © 2005 WorldNetDaily.com Professor Ward Churchill Adding to a growing list of allegations, controversial University of Colorado professor Ward Churchill appears to have violated copyright law by claiming a reknowned artist's work as his own. Churchill, whose integrity has been challenged since news broke earlier last month of his paper blaming victims of 9-11 for the attacks, made an Indian-theme serigraph in 1981 called "Winter Attack" and printed 150 copies. But one of the buyers,...
