The University of Wisconsin at Madison has a history of being a harbinger for social discontent, and as such is generally unreceptive to the precepts of conservatism. The newest addition to the radical right on campus of a local chapter of an international organization called 'Protest Warrior.'
Founded in the midst of the Iraq war debate, the Protest Warriors are a group than infiltrates anti-war protests and demonstrations with the intent of fulfilling their manifesto of 'arming the libert loving Silent Majority with ammo that strikes at the intellectual solar plexus of the left.'
At a recent ROTC protest rally, the Protest Warriors were brandishing a sign that said, 'Communism has only killed 100 million people-let's give it another chance!'
The entire organization is nothing but an outlet for juvenile aspirations of conflict and grandeur.
You get the feeling that these wackos honestly believe that one day President George W. Bush is going to summon them to the White House, and while he's in his flight suit, inform then that they needs their help for 'Operation Love America' in which those that disagree with the administration are publicly flogged.
Protest Warrior exists simply as a way for people to garner attention and self-importance by doing nothing more than making people angry. One member explained that joining Protest Warrior 'changed his life' and said 'I hate how liberals roll their eyes at us...like we are children whenever they see our signs.'
Something that mainstream conservatives and liberals on campus and nationwide learned long ago is that if you want your ideas to be accepted by adults, you must first act like one.
Judging from Protest Warriors rhetoric and behavior, it is clear that acting like adults is something the group would rather not do.

Any comments?
Why did I know that would be in the top 3 replies???? You guys are incorrigible!
Coming from someone whose political brethren throw pies at and shout down those they disagree with.
well I am sorry but she is hot!!
well I am sorry but she is hot!!
Anyway, one thing I found interesting is the author's major:
Jake Herrera is junior majoring in Middle Eastern studies.
Hehehe.
There's nothing wrong with that statement.
Sometimes to get a point across to a stupid immature person, one has to speak in their language.
Right. Surround the person whose sign you dislike, with as many enlightened friends as possible. Poke and prod at him. Insult him. Swear at him. Throw ketchups and cokes at him. Try to tear the sign from his hands rip it down and destroy it. Create a mob around the PW and threaten to beat him in the name of peace and love.
Yeah, right.

I think she's already got a boyfriend.
I can just picture the gnashing of teeth and stomping of feet. Waaaaaaaaah!!! We're the only ones who have the right to protest!
There's nothing funnier than the look on libs' faces when they realize there is representation of the other point of view. They are shocked and appalled that they don't have a monopoly.
When liberals lose on facts, they resort to attempts at censorship.
Oh, this is rich. The moonbat left, the party of perennial losers, is complaining because someone is using their own tactics--although with much more intelligence and humor--against them?
Which side of the ideological divide is the one that portrays a sitting President as Hitler, a murderer, a fascist? Which side burns the other's leader in effigy? Which side of the "debate" throws pies and condiments at people with whom they disagree? Who believes that chanting "HEY HEY! HO HO! HALLIBURTON'S GOT TO GO" is the same as having a well-reasoned argument? Which side likes to infiltrate State of the Union addresses and begin publicly shouting vulgarities?
This campus lefty doesn't like the Protest Warriors and things they are too 'immature'? Me thinks he doth protest too much.
