Los Angeles Protest Warriors needs help! Commies plan to seize Pershing Square Saturday May 21st!

Posted on 05/15/2005 12:06:40 PM PDT by ethanmx2

Greetings friends, I know it has been a long while since I've posted, but LA Freepers, we need your help!

The LA chapter of Protest Warrior is planning Operation: Jackpot, to counter the "mass" rally planned by the commies of ANSWER. Here is the plan so far:

Allied forces (that's us) will meet at the corner of 5th St. and Olive Street (NW corner of Pershing Square) at 1130am. The protest is planned to start at high noon. If the rally is being held at 5th and Olive, then the meet up point will be 5th St. and Hill St. Signs can be various (since ANSWER will be ranting on various topics). I expect the rally to last about 2-4 hours. I also expect to see a lot of moonbats, so I would advise you guys to read up on all sorts of topics.

The PW HQ has a page devoted to Operation: Jackpot, and if you are in the HQ and would like to sign up, go ahead and clickie here: Operation: Jackpot There is more information at the ProtestWarrior forum: Operation: Jackpot Forum Topic

LA PW really needs Allied help. The HQ only shows one PW signing up for it (I can't do it due to other commitments) I do not want LA to be the first city to fall to ANSWER. We must show the commies that they don't own this town! That there are other opinions that speak as the real majority of Americans. Help me save LA! Please sign up for Operation: Jackpot!

Thank you.

Sgt. Major Ethan Musulin
El Camino College PW Chapter Leader
"Bunker Commander" of Operation: Jackpot

Hi, ethanmx2!
I remember you from a PREVIOUS encounter with these bozos.
As it happens, I will be in Fresno that day, but perhaps we can get a few folks to help.
As a rule, however, I would generally prefer NOT to go up against these guys without some SERIOUS advance planning.
These "anti-war peace-niks" are often some of the most NASTY and VIOLENT thugs that I have ever engaged on the streets of Los Angeles.
My current philosophy is, there is ALWAYS a "next" time.
Without YOU being there, and without ME being there, I am concerned that things might not go well for your side.
IMHO, there are TOO MANY things that could go wrong.

We just have to choose our battles wisely...
...the ones where we can have MAXIMUM impact.
See, for instance, our MASSIVE recent success -- on an NATIONAL scale, here:

While some Freepers may still be out at a certain restaurant near the NBC studios, I only caught the Jay Leno show (thanks to RonDog) and hope the others will fill us in when they get back.

But it was ALL ANN COULTER ALL THE TIME today in Burbank, California. RonDog got out at 6am to get hold of a bunch of tickets for the rest of us Freepers who strolled in this afternoon to get in line for the Leno show. Freepers Genevieve, Roarkman, Jessamine, Tame, and others (please check in) showed up to show our love for "Conservative pundit, Ann Coulter..."

-- snip --

...Ann came out to a standing ovation and shouts of support. The applause was obviously more substantial than for anyone else on the show...

See also, from www.satelliteguys.us:
...Even Jay Leno has gone right-wing, judging from the crowd he attracts:
Ann Coulter got more applause than the Pope last night...

And, also HERE:

Last Thursday afternoon, HUNDREDS of happy, smiling, flag-waving patriotic Americans gathered outside a "private, secret" fundraiser at the Santa Monica airport to welcome President Bush back to Los Angeles, for his first visit to southern California since March 2004.

Two very highly repected sources independently calculated that over FIFTEEN HUNDRED people overwhelmed the intersection of 31st Street and Ocean Park Boulevard in Santa Monica, just north of the hanger in which President Bush, Laura Bush and Governor Schwarzenegger appeared at a private fundraiser which had not been widely publicized until a few days before the event --
with the crowd outside roughly divided into half pro-Bush and half anti-Bush.

On a Thursday afternoon.
In Santa Monica...

I've protested with the LA protestwarrors before, it's not that bad, there were 15 of us to 1500 of them... ANSWER gets permits, which attract the Police... surprisingly ANSWER is very organized and quick to keep protesters from doing illegal activities (at their event anyway). I'm not supporting ANSWER, just saying they're not complete barbarians. Stay in a group though - I've heard that in San Francisco the "ninja" looking guys are the ones to steer clear from, they carry knives and stab people (anybody, it doesn't matter who)... it's not as bad in LA.

If you would rather not protest directly, see about making a giant banner and unrolling it from the roof of a building or something... I've always wanted to do that. "WAR HAS NEVER SOLVED ANYTHING, besides communism, Nazism, fascism, terrorism"

We have also fought the "cancer from A.N.S.W.E.R" previously -- on MULTIPLE occasions.
My primary concern is whether going up against them at THIS event is a good idea.
Besides, even with extensive advance preparation, we rarely get any good media coverage.
I respect what the Protest Warriors do, but it appears that only ONE of them in the L.A. chapter has currently volunteered for this particular mission.
And, **I** am currently emotionally invested elsewhere, so I cannot commit to helping organize THIS project.
