The organization that ignited the tea party as a national mass movement gave Mitt Romney perhaps his biggest victory yet, deciding to drop its opposition to his candidacy, a top executive in the group told The Washington Times. Eleven days before Michigan's candidate registration deadline. And we still don't know if former Gov. Sarah Palin is going, as she puts it, to toss her name into the hat. Here's Palin's problem: We don't know. She likes it that way. It's late by contemporary announcement standards. And many of us, even those fascinated by her refreshing rogueness, have stopped caring. Certainly her would-be Republican opponents have moved on, as they should. So, does it even matter now if SP drives her beautiful bus straight through the gates of tradition into a rogue race?
