Dr. Anthony Fauci is the most highly compensated federal employee and the most visible. So, it’s incumbent upon all of us to give him oversight. In 2011, I founded a national transparency organization called OpenTheBooks.com. Last year, we filed 47,000 Freedom of Information Act requests, the most in American history. We successfully captured and displayed online $12 trillion of federal, state, and local spending. Over the past 14 months – since January 2021 – we investigated Dr. Fauci’s financials by filing FOIA requests. When I published our original reporting at Forbes, here is what happened. The National Institutes of Health,...

Adam Andrzejewski is not a household name. Yet. He is facing stiff competition on Tuesday in the Illinois gubernatorial primary, one of six Republicans seeking the nomination. But Andrzejewski could have a sudden edge: He is buoyed support from regional "tea party" groups, who praise his "solid, core-conservative values." Some last-minute, hearty endorsements have also ramped up the political currency of the 40-year-old businessman. The candidate has garnered enthusiastic support from Lech Walesa, the former president of Poland, who declared, "I see in him a young Ronald Reagan."...Rush Limbaugh calls him "The Scott Brown of Illinois."

Pat Hughes is the only one with a shot to defeat left wing extremist Republican Mark Kirk. Adam has momentum with Lech Walesa and tea partiers in Illinois. Brady and Proft are choices 2 and 3. For Lt. Governor Tracy, White, or Plummer Comptroller Jim Dodge

Rush Limbaugh has thrown his support behind Adam Andrzejewski (pronounced "an-gee-EFF-skee"), a Republican candidate for governor of Illinois. (Audio here.) Tomorrow's GOP primary is crowded with challengers, and Andrzejewski has trailed former state party chairman Andy McKenna in the polls. But he has been riding a surge lately, starting with an endorsement from former Polish president and Solidarity founder Lech Walesa on Friday, and continuing with Rush's declaration that Andrzejewski might be "the Scott Brown of his contest." "I have not heard Rush’s remarks yet — I’ve spent the day campaigning in Polish neighborhoods all over Chicago — but people...

After praying to John Paul II for inspiration, and seeing Lech Walessa's 11th-hour endorsement as confirmation, Fighting Irish Thomas wholeheartedly backs Adam Andrzejewski in his bid for governor. Unequivocally pro-life, Andrzejewski gets the nod over other anti-abortion candidates such as Dan Proft, whose poll numbers are slipping whereas Adam's are surging, and Jim Ryan, who did not even inspire enough enthusiasm to beat the clown-crook governor, Rod "The Hair" Blagojevich, and certainly can't be counted on to beat either the slippery Dan Hynes or the (sort of) "Mighty" Quinn. Meanwhile, speaking of slippery, Andy "moneybags" McKenna's pro-life stance is buried...

From the Gdansk Lenin Shipyards to the city of the Back of the Yards, Lech Walesa, former President of Poland, and preeminent community organizer, attended a fundraiser on Friday, January 29, to endorse Adam Andrzejewski (an gee eff skie) who is one of six Republicans seeking the nomination of his party for Governor of Illinois. Walesa , who led trade union strikes in Poland in the early 1980s, managed to bring about needed economic and political change for laborers without resorting to violence. He led the Solidarność or Solidarity, a broad anti-Soviet social movement. Its activities included workers taking to...

On Friday, January 29th, 2010, Lech Walesa, former President of Poland, traveled to Chicago to endorse Illinois Republican gubernatorial candidate, Adam Andrzejewski. We were fortunate enough to have an opportunity to sit down with the President and Mr. Andrzejewski. Our video from that visit is below. Items that stand out: 1) Lech Walesa tells his American Audience that the United States no longer leads the world politically or morally 2) At least one of your Founding Bloggers asks President Walesa if he thinks America is slipping toward Socialism. His Answer? Yes! 3) Andrzejewski is running on a platform of forensically...

Illinois Gubernatorial Candidate Adam Andrzejewski rallied supporters in O’Fallon, Illinois this afternoon. It was a standing room only crowd. While campaigning in O’Fallon the Andrzejewski team announced that Adam had just received the endorsement of the largest Chicago Polish paper today. And…. It was announced that Adam had surged to within two points in an internal poll conducted by a conservative organization in Washington DC. Andrzejewski was 8 points down earlier in the week in the Illinois race. It may have been the endorsement by Lech Walesa that helped Andrzejewski surge in the latest polling. And this is despite the...

On Friday, January 29th, 2010, Lech Walesa, former President of Poland, traveled to Chicago to endorse Illinois Republican gubernatorial candidate, Adam Andrzejewski. This was the first time that Walesa has backed an American candidate for office. Andrew Marcus from Founding Bloggers and Big Government interviewed Lech and Adam on Friday in Chicago: Lech Walesa: “The United States was always the last resort and hope for all other nations. There was the hope that whenever something was going wrong one could count on the United States. Today we lost that hope.”Adam Andrzejewski will be in O’Fallon, Illinois today at a pre-election...

I’m a candidate myself and have consulted for many conservative campaigns throughout North America. I’ve known several great conservative candidates well. I do not know Adam Andrzejewski personally, but I’ve come to greatly admire his campaign. One does not need to know him in order to see what a benefit he can be to Illinois and to the nation. A third generation Illinois-born American, Adam is a 40 year old conservative who embodies the very meaning of the word. He has a strong work ethic, a clear sense on policy, a passionate belief in the best of people and a...

For weeks and weeks my email has been peppered with notes from people in Illinois along the lines of this one: You keep talking about Pat Hughes, but what about Adam Andrzejewski? He’s a dream candidate. He’s a Rubio. Everyone these days calls their candidate a Rubio. Guess what? Andrzejewski is a Rubio — well spoken, attractive, conservative to his core, and with a zealous band of conservative supporters. Oh, and he strikes fear and dread into the heart of the old guard Republicans who led Illinois off the cliff into the hands of an even more corrupt Democrat Party....

The famous Polish dissident and Nobel Peace Prize winner Lech Walesa will campaign in Illinois on Friday on behalf of a Republican candidate for governor. Walesa, the co-founder of the Polish trade union Solidarity, which contributed to the fall of communism in Poland, will hit the campaign trail on behalf of Adam Andrzejewski, an Illinois businessman running for the Republican gubernatorial nomination in the state. Walesa will speak at a luncheon, as well as help with a fundraiser, and speak to media during a barnstorming of northern Illinois on Friday said Brian McDaniel, a spokesman for Andrzejewski.

After Scott Brown’s upset senate victory in Massachusetts, everyone -- left and right -- is left wondering how big an omen it is for November. In the Tuesday Republican primary for the Illinois governor’s race, Adam Andrzejewski may provide the answer. The importance of the ACORN story last summer proved that conservatives have begun to break the mainstream media’s stranglehold on political news. The visual confirmation -- distributed virally by alternate media willing to expose it, provided proof of ACORN’s deep-seated corruption. Bringing the story out invigorated both mainstream conservatives and Tea Party activists. Scott Brown’s victory has had the...

First let me begin by stating the following commentary is not an endorsement of Adam Andrzejewski's gubernatorial bid who is seeking the GOP nomination in the February 2nd primary. But I must provide full disclosure regarding my prior relationship with former state Sen. Patrick O'Malley. My wife Julie and I know O'Malley well. He was our state Senator when we lived in Crestwood, Illinois in southwest Cook County. We care for him deeply and always will. As a private citizen, I supported his bid for the GOP gubernatorial primary in 2002. Then-Attorney General Jim Ryan went on to defeat O'Malley...

First of all, I know it looks impossible to even say, so let's clear up that last name. It's pronounced An-gee-ef-ski. I know, I know, that means here in Illinois we could possibly go from a Governor Blagojevich to an Andrzejewski. But the difficult last name should stand as the only similarity between the two men, for Adam seems to have some ideas on how Illinois might get out of its fiscal nightmare. I interviewed him not long ago and he had some very interesting thoughts on how to fix Illinois. (adamforillinois.com/) In fact, Andrzejewski has already made some headway...

In an exclusive, Big Government has obtained a letter addressed by Nobel Prize Winner and anti-Communist hero Lech Walesa to the people of Illinois, endorsing Adam Andrzejewski, Republican candidate for Governor. Mr. Walesa will be in Chicago this week to campaign for Mr. Andrzejewski. The primary election is Tuesday, February 2nd. The endorsement from Walesa may actually mean something to Illinois voters. Illinois is home not only to a large number of Polish-Americans, but a large number of voters from throughout Eastern Europe and the former Soviet Union. There is no clear frontrunner in the crowded field of candidates. Most...
