The GOP-led Congress will not approve any so-called “comprehensive” amnesty deal before the border chaos is fixed, GOP leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) told a pro-establishment news site. The establishment’s preferred amnesty-for-border-security swap is defunct because “I believe [President Joe] Biden has destroyed our border so badly,” McCarthy told Punchbowl News. He continued: You can’t tie the two [amnesty and border security]. You’ve got to just go fix the border to start out before you can deal with immigration. I just think it’s too far broken. I don’t think anyone’s going to believe you if you tie the two together.

The Biden White House reportedly directed the Democrat mayor of El Paso, Texas, to not declare a state of emergency over the massive influx of illegal immigrants overwhelming the city due to concerns it would make Democrats look bad ahead of the 2022 midterm elections. According to the New York Post, at least three of the El Paso City Council’s eight members have asked Mayor Oscar Leeser to issue an emergency declaration in response to the humanitarian crisis caused by the thousands of migrants who have filled city’s shelters and hotels, but he has thus far resisted taking that step....

Intriguing footage captured by a security camera shows a strange aerial object moving in the nighttime skies of Kansas City, MO. The host of Hidden Underbelly 2.0 has conjectured that we may be looking at a partially cloaked UFO. The video was reportedly recorded on October 13th, 2022, and when Anthony B. saw the object moving on his home screen, he ran outside to see it in person, but it had already vanished. In the soundless footage, the curiously-shaped craft, which has a partially transparent quality, can be seen moving behind a set of trees, which suggests it has some...

U.S. and Mexico officials told the United Nations Monday both countries stand ready to intervene in the dire humanitarian crisis crippling Haiti with civil unrest sparked by gang violence, widespread famine, and a cholera outbreak. --snip-- The nation’s economy has tanked since gangs blocked a major fuel terminal last month, which has forced the closure of businesses and hospitals, according to The Guardian. U.S. Sen. Joe Biden really got into the Q and A with his audience at the Columbia, SC, Rotary Club Monday (Nov. 27, 2006), wading out into the crowd to answer a question about immigration.

A Florida man stabbed his wife to death and then cut his own neck in a horrific murder-suicide in front of their three young children Monday, officials said. Deputies from the Volusia County Sheriff’s Office responded to a home in Deltona just after 6 p.m. after a neighbor told them that a 10-year-old boy ran to his house for help because his stepfather had stabbed his mother. The neighbor told cops he entered the residence and found a woman and a man on the floor — along with two unharmed children — before calling 911.

President Joe Biden's border chief skips White House gatherings, falls asleeps in meetings and badmouths his colleagues, his critics told Politico in a damning report published on Monday. Customs and Border Protection Commissioner Chris Magnus was charged with caring more about reforming the agency's culture - including charges of racism and violence - instead of addressing the influx of migrants along the southern border. Magnus also sought to blame other federal agencies for the high number of border crossings, including Immigration and Customs Enforcement. CBP secures the border while ICE is responsible for arresting and detaining undocumented people that cross...

A Manhattan public school with just one certified bilingual teacher is reeling under the weight of a sudden influx of migrant students who don’t speak any English, The Post has learned. “We’re overwhelmed,” one frustrated teacher at PS 33 Chelsea Prep said Tuesday. “We’ve all got migrant students in our classrooms. The teachers don’t speak Spanish. There’s no resources helping us out right now — it’s a very challenging situation.” One outraged mom said migrant kids — easily identified by lime green ID tags that hang from their necks — have swelled the size of her daughter’s class from 15...

During an interview aired on Monday’s edition of NBC’s “Late Night with Seth Meyers,” Vice President Kamala Harris reacted to Texas Gov. Greg Abbott (R) busing migrants to her residence in Washington, D.C., by stating the move is “an absolute dereliction of duty.” because “If you see a problem and if we agree that we need to address it, then, if you’re a leader, participate in a solution,” which she argued the Biden administration has done by proposing a bill for “a pathway for citizenship…to fix a broken immigration system, which was broken under the previous administration.” Harris stated, “I...

While President Joe Biden “scrambles” to address Ukraine’s border war with Russia, the U.S. border sits vulnerable to a host of criminal activity that is quickly seeping into all 50 states. That’s problematic because in just a year and a half, Biden’s border crisis has made it increasingly easier for transnational criminal organizations raking in hundreds of millions of dollars each year smuggling migrants across the U.S.-Mexico border to become even more profitable and powerful. The Department of Homeland Security bragged last week that there has been a “500% increase in human smuggling disruption activity compared to similar past operations”...

U.S. Department of Homeland Security agencies issued more than 255,000 smartphones to illegal aliens during fiscal year 2022, according to data on the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) website. The phones are trackable and the individual is responsible for checking in with ICE on a regular basis, often by sending in a geo-tagged photo of themselves. The cost for the 255,602 phones and their accompanying technology is $245,377 per day. Over a year, that’s $89.5 million. The majority of the phones were issued to single adults. ICE has failed to provide any data on the compliance rate of the smartphone...

In January 2017, signs appeared throughout yuppie Brooklyn. In the windows of cafés and shops, a man with pleading eyes and a baby in his coat stared at us with the words “Refugees welcome here.” What did it mean? That refugees could also come and buy the $7 lattes that the brownstone set were buying? Like most people who put signs in windows, the Brooklynites didn’t actually mean it. Refugees were welcome here because it was a poke in the eye to Trump, who wanted to build a wall and make Mexico pay for it, not because refugees could actually...

The Biden administration's border czar traveled to Texas over the weekend, but she evidently wanted to talk about everything but the border. Vice President Kamala Harris attended two events in Austin, including a high-dollar Democratic fundraiser, at which she spoke about abortion, contraception, gay rights, 'voting rights,' and virtually everything under the sun. Except, that is, the Texas-centric fiasco at the Southern border that she's at least ostensibly been tasked with addressing. That she would scrupulously avoid this matter is entirely unsurprising; she's averted her eyes from it as much as possible over the past year-plus, with the exceptions of...

When does the influx of people at our southern border become an emergency? Apparently when it finally affects cities and states far from that border. Mayor Eric Adams declared a state of emergency Friday due to the sharp increase in the number of migrants arriving in his city. “El Paso, the city manager, the mayor, they should stop sending buses to New York,” Adams implored. Last week in these pages, City Councilman Joe Borelli saluted the mayor for declaring the emergency and noted that “17,400 migrants have entered New York City since this spring (more than half of whom were...

Mass migration has quickly spiked Canadians’ housing prices and rapidly reduced the share of Canadians who can own homes, admits the pro-migration New York Times. “Basically southern Ontario has become unaffordable” amid a massive inflow of immigrants, real-estate agent Bryan Adlam told the newspaper for an October 8 article, and added: “I have two clients I have right now whose budget is $500,000 to $600,000, which is not chump change,” he said. “Are they going to be renters for life? Probably. Has owning a home become unattainable for someone on the lower income echelon? I would say, yes.”

The man accused of stabbing eight and killing two in Las Vegas on Thursday walked free from another violent crime charge last year after the district attorney failed to prosecute in time. Court documents exclusively obtained by DailyMail.com reveal that Guatemalan alleged undocumented migrant Yoni Barrios, 32, was charged in 2019 with criminal domestic violence by Los Angeles district attorney Jackie Lacey, who has since stepped down. Had he been convicted, Barrios would likely have been imprisoned and deported and would not have been free to commit the senseless slaughter on the Vegas strip this week.

Of course, readers might be thinking, shouldn’t illegal immigrants convicted of federal marijuana possession just be deported? The better question is: shouldn’t any illegal alien caught by law enforcement be deported? Instead of that happening, it seems many such individuals occupy our federal prisons. According to CNN, “during fiscal year 2021 some 72% of federal offenders in a case of marijuana possession were non-citizens.” However, it should be noted that data doesn’t differentiate between those unlawfully present in the U.S. and those legally here, such as green card holders. Regardless, an immigration attorney told CNN that simple marijuana possession charges...

CHICAGO — As migrants continue to be bused into the city, advocacy groups that have been working with the undocumented community say the city still has to fill many structural holes to support and sustain not only the new arrivals but also the existing undocumented community. Since August, Texas Gov. Greg Abbott has sent more than 2,500 migrants to Chicago. While city and state leaders initiated a rapid response to situate the migrants, immigration activists and organizations still feel that efforts to shore up social services amount to emergency triage, not long-term solutions. The city has nearly 829,000 noncitizens who...

The suspect accused of killing two people and injuring six others during a stabbing rampage on the Las Vegas Strip is in the United States illegally, sources told Fox News. Yoni Barrios, 32, is a Guatemalan national in the U.S. illegally with a criminal record in California, a source with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement said. The other victims remain hospitalized. He allegedly began his rampage after a group of showgirls refused to take a picture with him. He approached the group of women and said he was a chef, local news station KTNV reported. He used what authorities described...
