This is the nightmare scenario that wakes me up at night.  And its so easy to see it develop.Hillary wins big in Penn and PR, while Obama continues to sweep up some smaller states.  Neither is close to the majority number, but Hillary refuses to give in.More and more polling begins to suggest — as Pew does today — that Obama will lose a significant number of blue collar “Archie Bunker” democrats that are currently supporting Hillary, but will vote for McCain before Obama.  This will give McCain states like Ohio, Michigan, and Penn.  Superdelegate/party leaders will know that they cannot...

Today we will learn whether Al Gore has won the Nobel peace prize. As someone who cares passionately about climate change, I'll be saying a little prayer. That he doesn't win, of course. The former US Vice-President has already taken over from Michael Moore as the most sanctimonious lardbutt Yank on the planet. Can you imagine what he'll be like if the Norwegian Nobel committee gives him the prize? The 2008 Presidential campaign will not include Al Gore. I'm reporting tonight that the former Vice President and 2000 Democratic Presidential nominee will not run for President. I've been given this scoop from a perfect source who informed me that the purpose of this disclosure at this time is to end speculation about a campaign that will never occur.
