Despite all efforts to convince principled voters that they must sacrifice their own convictions because so few will actually exercise theirs, some will stand up on November 2, 2010. The cynical party apparatus depends on apathy and voter laziness combined with the groupthink they nurture to corral voters into one of two cattle chutes.
