President Obama and his Hawaiian vacation party, fresh from watching Ohio State defeat Oregon in the Rose Bowl, took a late afternoon New Year's Day trip to Island Snow shave ice and clothing store--one of the Obama's favorite haunts in Kailua. The large Obama tribe -- which included Malia, Sasha, family friends Marty Nesbitt and his family, Eric Whitaker and his family, island golfing buddies Greg Orme and Mike Ramos and others--ordered 19 shave ice cones in all the various flavors and colors of the rainbow, seven of them with ice cream on the bottom.
