A Washington Post opinion piece ripped Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis for his vehement opposition to kids attending drag performances after video from the "Drag Your Kids to Pride" show in Texas went viral last week, accusing him of "weaponizing" child protective services for "political gain." "Fresh off defending parental rights in education, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis has a new cause: using the power of the state to harass parents who see drag performances as family entertainment," columnist Alyssa Rosenberg wrote. Rosenberg noted DeSantis' complaints that children should not be exposed to drag performances, citing his quotes that, "We have child...

Isn’t that conversion therapy?” Ellingsen allegedly tweeted. She also questioned the legitimacy of FRI’s advisor Christine Jentoft identifying as a lesbian despite being born a biological male. “Jentoft, who is male and an advisor in FRI, presents himself...

The governing body of the largest Mennonite denomination in the United States passed a resolution on Sunday (May 29) confessing to “committing violence against LGBTQ people” and committing to LGBTQ inclusion. In a separate vote, Mennonite Church USA also repealed instructions to pastors not to officiate at marriages between people of the same sex. The denomination’s official confession, which views marriage as between a man and a woman, remains unchanged. Nearly 83% of the delegates meeting at a special assembly in Kansas City, Missouri, voted in favor of repealing the guidelines barring marriage for same-sex couples, while the resolution for...
