CHINESE President Hu Jintao and United States President Barack Obama yesterday agreed to work together to advance relations between their two countries. Meeting on the sidelines of the Group of 20 summit in Seoul, the two leaders discussed bilateral relations as well as important regional and international issues. Hu said China was determined to push forward reform of the exchange rate formation mechanism, but that reform would have to be carried out in a good external environment and in a gradual manner.
