For more than a year, the most mysterious figure in the ongoing Spygate scandal has been professor Joseph Mifsud, the Maltese academic who played an instrumental role in entrapping Trump campaign adviser George Papadopoulos on behalf of the FBI. A great number of people have wanted to talk to Mifsud about what he knows concerning the FBI’s Crossfire Hurricane sting, the counterintelligence operation designed to entrap the Trump campaign into accepting offers of Russian help during the 2016 election. However, nobody’s been successful in talking to him thus far, since he’s been in hiding since the news broke of his...

A federal court is keeping documents justifying an FBI raid on a reportedly recognized whistleblower secret. Attorneys and whistleblower advocates say the court should disclose whether prosecutors told the judge that Dennis Cain was a whistleblower. A federal court refused to unseal government documents that permitted the FBI to raid the home of a reportedly recognized whistleblower who, according to his lawyer, delivered documents pertaining to the Clinton Foundation and Uranium One to a presidentially appointed watchdog. The U.S. District Court of Maryland’s Chief Magistrate Judge Beth P. Gesner, a Clinton appointee, also sealed her justification for keeping the documents...

President Trump on Wednesday threatened to declassify documents related to the Russia investigation that he claimed would be damaging to Democrats if they decide to investigate him when they take control of the House next year. Trump's comments, made in an interview with The New York Post, come two months after he walked back his original plans to declassify and publicly release the documents as a result of concerns from U.S. allies and his own Justice Department. “If they want to play tough, I will do it,” Trump told the Post. “They will see how devastating those pages are.” He...

Last week, we told you that the Philadelphia Police Department was asking for the public’s help to identify a group of people who allegedly attacked United States Marine Corps reservists in Old City, and now police say they have one suspect in custody: Tom Keenan, who has been associated with Philadelphia’s antifa movement. Investigators say that a group of men and women maced, punched, kicked, and robbed the reservists near Front and Chestnut streets on Saturday, November 17th, around 3:20 p.m., just down the street from the controversial “We the People” rally. The group allegedly called the reservists “Nazis” and “white supremacists.” -snip According to...

The head of the UN’s atomic watchdog said Thursday that Iran continued to abide by the nuclear deal reached in 2015 with major world powers that aimed at preventing Tehran from building atomic weapons in exchange for economic incentives. Speaking at a board meeting Thursday in Vienna of the International Atomic Energy Agency, Director General Yukiya Amano reiterated the agency’s findings in a report distributed to member states earlier this month that “Iran is implementing its nuclear-related commitments under the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action.” The issue has grown more complicated since the US withdrew unilaterally in May from the...

Democratic consultant claims he warned party staffers about legality but was ignored. It seems clear at this point that Democrats in Florida were not going to accept defeat in the 2018 midterms and were prepared to do whatever it takes to win, including fraud. In multiple counties, an effort has been underway to “fix” certain mail ballots in the hope that they could turn the tide after the fact. Try to imagine the media’s reaction if Republicans were doing this. Ana Ceballos reports at the Naples Daily News: Democrats planned to use altered forms to fix mail ballots across Florida...

"Let the record show at 4:01pm on October 7th, this election ended – when this Washington Post story broke." ---Donny Deutsch, 2016. As we have seen, Donny Deutsch has had a somewhat less than spectacular record when predicting on the subject of President Donald Trump. In fact, his predictions have often been spectacularly wrong.Deutsch's latest prediction on Trump was delivered on Monday's Morning Joe. In response to co-host Joe Scarborough's observation that Trump must already know he is going to lose re-election in 2020, Deutsch upped the ante on silliness by suggesting that if Trump does lose, he will stage...

People's connections in the US to Google – including its cloud, YouTube, and other websites – were suddenly rerouted through Russia and into China in a textbook Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) hijacking attack. That means folks in Texas, California, Ohio, and so on, firing up their browsers and software and connecting to Google and its services were instead meandering through systems in Russia and China, and not reaching servers belonging to the Silicon Valley giant. Netizens outside of America may also have been affected. The Chocolate Factory confirmed that for a period on Monday afternoon, from 1312 to 1435 Pacific...

"Hello. I'm a REPUBLICAN pollster and I would like to ask you a few questions." If anybody tells you that they or their spouses received such a phone call, they are lying. Why? Because political pollsters of all stripes (Republican and Democrat) NEVER identify their party affiliation during interviews so as not to taint the sample. Therefore what is one to make of self-sainted former FBI Director James Comey's November 3 tweet that a Republican pollster called up his wife and that she replied with the following response?
