Republican lawmakers Jim Jordan and Mark Meadows requested a slew of Obama era documents and communications Tuesday related to “attempted interference in the” 2016 election from Department of Homeland Security Kirsjen Nielsen. In a letter the lawmakers noted “then-DHS Secretary Jeh Johnson briefed Members of Congress about attempted Russian interference.
