Transcript of John Dowd's voicemail to Michael Flynn lawyer released
The transcript of a voicemail recording President Trump's legal representation left for retired Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn's lawyer on Nov. 22, 2017 was released on Friday. It shows former Trump lawyer John Dowd asking for a "heads up" if Flynn knew information that "implicates" Trump after Flynn dropped from a joint defense agreement with the president and began cooperating with special counsel Robert Mueller's investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election. "Hey, Rob, uhm, this is John again. Uh, maybe, I-I-I-'m-I'm sympathetic; I understand your situation, but let me see if I can't...state it in...starker terms," the message said....
