A lone hacker, referring to himself as Guccifer 2.0, is claiming responsibility for hacking into the Democratic National Committee (DNC) servers.  While the DNC confirmed Tuesday its servers had indeed been breached, they and cyber security firm CrowdStrike indicated the Russian government was the likely culprit. Apparently, #NeverTrump candidate Evan McMullin attended the June 15 House leadership meeting. McMullin then announced he would run for president against the Republican primary winner Donald Trump in August. Republican leaders now believe McMullin taped the meetings. Earlier this week McMullin confirmed to the Washington Post that a tape leaked to the liberal rag was accurate. Republicans trusted this clown — Now they are worried he is going leak more audio from their meetings — trashing Trump no doubt — to the liberal media.

House GOP leaders have launched an internal review into how someone secretly recorded and leaked audio of a private 2016 leadership meeting in which Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) jokes about how Russia is paying off President Trump. SNIP Leadership sources suspect the leaker is former CIA officer Evan McMullin, who attended the June 15 meeting in the Capitol in his capacity as a top policy aide to GOP Conference Chairwoman Cathy McMorris Rodgers (R-Wash.)
