FORT HUACHUCA — Saying the Army appreciates its soldiers who are called upon to deploy into some of the world’s hot spots, Maj. Gen. Barbara Fast on Friday officially welcomed home 16 fort soldiers who had served in Iraq and Afghanistan. Although the spotlight is usually directed on to units leaving and returning, the 16 are part of individuals and small teams that were called to deploy.
