The government’s jailing of terrorism witnesses for a grand jury probe of the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks is unconstitutional, a federal judge concluded Tuesday in dismissing a perjury case against a Jordanian college student. In a ruling that, if upheld, would have far reaching implications on the government’s approach to investigating terrorism, Judge Shira Scheindlin attacked the reasoning of Attorney General John Ashcroft. She criticized Ashcroft’s reported statement that “aggressive detention of lawbreakers and material witnesses is vital to preventing, disrupting or delaying new attacks.” Scheindlin wrote that “Relying on the material witness statute to detain people who are presumed...

I've been looking into one of the Iranian passengers by the name of Pouria Nour Mohammad Mehrdad or also known as Pouria Nourmohammadi, and I find one of his Facebook comments quite disturbing, possibly code for hijacking a plane.. His comment was: “Because of some problems I will deactivate my account. Friends, seriously, if I’ve done any of you a bad turn, forgive me because maybe…” Might his "bad turn" comment be his way of telling his handlers he's on track to hijack an airplane and change its flight path? Here are some links which discuss Pouria, whose FB account...

Friday, August 27, 2004 A captured al-Qaeda operative has told Canadian intelligence investigators that a Montreal man who trained in Afghanistan alongside the 9/11 hijackers was responsible for the crash of an American Airlines flight in New York three years ago. Canadian Security Intelligence Service agents were told during five days of interviews with the source that Abderraouf Jdey, a Canadian citizen also known as Farouk the Tunisian, had downed the plane with explosives on Nov. 12, 2001. The source claimed Jdey had used his Canadian passport to board Flight 587 and "conducted a suicide mission" with a small bomb...

Crowther is known to history as the Man in the Red Bandana. On that terrible morning, Crowther was working as an equities trader on the 104th floor of the World Trade Center’s South Tower when United Airlines Flight 175...

there has been renewed attention on the mosque’s history and past connections to individuals linked to the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks. The New York Post described the mosque as one of the largest Islamic centers in California and noted that it has been the subject of national attention since the early 2000s. According to the report, two of the 9/11 hijackers, Nawaf alHazmi and Khalid al-Mihdhar, attended the mosque while living in San Diego before the attacks. Federal investigators later examined their activities in the city and their connections to members of the local Muslim community. The mosque’s current imam,...

Previously, the Islamic Center of San Diego made headlines for its connection to Sept. 11, 2001, hijackers Nawaf al-Hazmi and Khalid al-Mihdhar. Both hijackers reportedly prayed at the mosque and found an apartment nearby through advertisements at the mosque while taking flight lessons in the city. More recently, Imam Taha Hassane has come under fire for his comments on the Oct. 7, 2023, attacks. Hassane’s wife and daughter have also been under fire for inflammatory rhetoric. A Man Of Memes @RickyDoggin Flashback: 911 operator hung up on a mother who called three times because her child wasn’t breathing. Later, police walked up to the console and arrested the operator. “Ma’am, step away from the console.” “Excuse me, I’m working.” “We need you to come with us.” “What is this about?” “You’re being arrested for hanging up on emergency callers.” “For what? I didn’t do anything.” “A mother called 911 three times because her child stopped breathing. You hung up on her three times.” “I just didn’t feel like working.” “You disconnected multiple emergency calls instead of...

There are a lot of bitter people in Washington now that Donald Trump is president, and probably none are more bitter than fired former FBI director, James Comey. So it's not surprising to hear that he's trying to undermine the president; he has been through various swampy means ever since his unceremonious exit from that office. He's also not wrapped very well, as I argued here, and does weird things. Now he's being investigated for a veiled death threat against President Trump. According to commentator Steve Guest: Steve Guest @SteveGuest BREAKING: Former FBI Director James Comey just posted on Instagram...

At 6:30 p.m. on Sept. 14, Ana Belen Montes, a senior analyst at the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA), walked into a public telephone booth outside Washington's National Zoo and made two calls to pager numbers later traced by federal agents to Cuba's Directorate of General Intelligence (DGI). She already had compromised the identities of CIA agents, revealed U.S. military secrets and exposed the contents of classified files. But, as Montes sent repeated signals to her DGI handlers during the days immediately following the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks on the Pentagon and the twin towers of the World Trade Center, the ...

“For Americans who came of age before the Iranian revolution, the defining event regarding Iran was the hostage crisis of 1979-1981, in which 52 of their countrymen were held prisoner for over a year at the captured U.S. Embassy in Tehran...” “That crisis dominated news in the United States for an extended period. It even spawned a nightly television program (which became ABC Nightline)..." American children who came of age in as late as the 1970s and early 80s will likely recall the Iran of their childhood as an infamous adversary, much in the same vein as the Soviet Union,...

A banner draped over a 9/11 memorial, which was advertising a new Islamic portion of a Contra Costa County cemetery, was removed after receiving backlash. The owner of the Memorial Gardens Cemetery said he recently sold a portion of the property to an Islamic family who plans to open memorial garden. He said he gave them permission to put up signage but did not authorize them to drape it over the 9/11 installation. He ordered it to be removed as soon as he learned about it. Workers took it down just before noon, but many said it should have never...

Yes, I am going to say it-Zohran Mamdani’s wife, the First Lady of New York City, Rama Duwaji is a Jew-hating, terrorist lover. “Sure, Lisa”, you say. “Tell us something we did not yet know”. Iran posed an “intolerable risk” to the U.S. with its missile threat and, during negotiations, wouldn’t accept “free nuclear fuel forever” – all of which led up to Saturday’s attack on Tehran. Senior administration officials briefed reporters on the hours leading up to “Operation Epic Fury.” One official described Iran’s missile inventory and said it posed “an intolerable risk to the United States.” The US had “indicators” that Tehran was going to launch a preemptive strike against American assets in the region, pointing to Iran’s retaliatory strikes on US bases in the region, including ones in Qatar, Kuwait, the United...
