President Bush's 9-11 Message
Semi-News/Semi-Satire ^ | 13 September 2026 | John Semmens

The 25th anniversary of the Islamic terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center and Pentagon inspired former President George W. Bush to remind everyone that "in the midst of that terrible tragedy, I courageously pointed out that Islam is a religion of peace. In the aftermath I sent US armed forces to depose the Afghan government that gave safe harbor to Osama Bin Laden--the mastermind of the 9-11 attacks--and the Iraq government that had weapons of mass destruction. This mission was accomplished. We didn't find either Bin Laden or the weapons of mass destruction, but we did transform Iraq into a democracy where voters got their fingers dyed purple for voting. Bin Laden was later found and killed during Obama's presidency."

"In the 25 years since those attacks, millions more Muslims have entered our country," Bush continued. "Most of them have not raped or murdered anyone. Instead, a growing number have been elected to public office. They are now participating in making new laws and enriching our culture with new ideas and cuisine. On balance, I think we are a more diverse society and better off than we were before the 9-11 attacks."

Unfortunately, Islam does not value a more diverse society. It aims to convert the whole world to the worship of Allah. The Quran--Islam's holy book--explicitly justifies using force if necessary. Islam is, in their belief, the one true religion. Historically, conquest and subjugation of nonbelievers has been the major means of expanding the number of Muslims around the world. For the last 47 years, Iran has been funding and undertaking terror attacks in multiple countries around the globe with the objective off making Islam the only religion allowed to exist.

Bush discounted this history and asserted "no Muslim has ever hurt me or my family." Hansan Piker pointed out "on one one hand, as a former president, Mr. Bush has taxpayer-funded bodyguards. On the other hand, he has been instrumental in sending troops to kill many Muslims. I think a lot of them might have very personal reasons to want to hurt him. On top of this, more than 40% of Muslims under the age of 35 believe that anybody who disagrees with them on their religion deserves to be assaulted or killed. Strategically, though, Bush is such a great apologist for Islam that no thinking adherent to Islam would want any harm to come to him until his lip service is no longer useful."

Meanwhile, four Muslim members of Congress--André Carson (D-IN), Ilhan Omar (D-MN), Rashida Tlaib (D-MI), and Lateefah Simon (D-CA)--are co-sponsors of House Resolution 741, which calls for reparations to Muslims for their suffering after 9/11. Rep, Tlaib claims that "the rampant Islamophobia that followed that day has terrified Muslims living in America. Many are afraid to leave their homes lest they be assaulted by angry mobs. We are calling for the US government to establish a fund that aggrieved Muslims can tap into for compensation for their pain and suffering over the past 25 years."

Finally, California Islamic scholar Uthman Farooq warned "no one can stop Islam in America. This is NOT your country, this is OUR country. This is the land of Allah. If you want to live in a place with no Muslims, I suggest you go to hell."

Bush failed to apprehend Bin Laden in Afganistan in 2001 because of political pressure and many people died as a result.

Bin Ladin was in Sudan and available to be taken in. I imagine the Saudis were too scared to take him out. So was BJ. Rudy wanted to be the one to kill him when he was on the lam.

The next Bin Laden is in the US and there’s more than one.

People who share bin Laden’s beliefs are in the US Congress.

This poor man is suffering from dementia. It’s best to ignore everything that comes out of his pie hole. He’s full of delusions about reality.
The only positive thing I can find to say is I don’t believe he’s consciously trying to destroy the United States like Obama was.

So much for George W. Bush’s lie that “we have to fight the terrorists over there, so they don’t come here.”

This post has been up one hour, on a Monday, mid-day. The business day after the 25th commemoration of 9/11.

Seven replies

No one is interested in Bush’s blather. Or anything else from him.

” making new laws and enriching our culture with new ideas and cuisine”

Makes me sick. I hate foreign food and don’t need their cultures. We are America.

W. Bush should stick to his hobby of oil painting mediocre portraits of famous people. At least it’s a harmless pastime, and even though the paintings aren’t great, I still prefer Bush as an artist rather than as a head of state.
