A wave of right-wing social media accounts launched near-identical attacks against a little-known Republican-backed bill aimed at restricting the export of advanced AI chips to adversaries, raising questions about whether the effort was coordinated to derail legislation publicly opposed by Nvidia. The AI OVERWATCH Act was introduced on Dec. 18, but seemingly out of nowhere on Thursday, a group of influencers and X accounts — including Laura Loomer, Ryan Fournier, Wall Street Mav and Defiant L’s — launched a barrage of attacks against the bill, ModelRepublic first reported. The timing, language and even shared errors across the posts prompted some...

Sean McDermott’s final big decision as the Buffalo Bills’ head coach was the wrong one – and it may have cost him his job. McDermott’s Bills won the coin toss in Saturday’s overtime period against the Denver Broncos and decided to go on defense first and offense second. It backfired when neither team scored on their first possession, and Denver scored in the third possession of the overtime. The Broncos had two possessions on offense, while the Bills had only one. Coaches like McDermott need to learn that under the new overtime rules the logical decision is to receive first,...

Two Boston men were arrested and charged with fraud that authorities say raked in so much Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) money that their tally began to outpace legitimate supermarkets. The men — Antonio Bonheur, 74, and Saul Alisme, 21 — allegedly operated their scams out of two small variety stores in the Mattapan neighborhood, according to the Department of Justice (1). Despite their small size and limited food offerings, these stores allegedly reported extremely high SNAP redemption volumes that went “far beyond what could reasonably be supported by legitimate food sales.” “To be certain, these were not supermarkets. They...

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said Tuesday he was worried US President Donald Trump's push to take Greenland could be diverting attention from Russia's invasion, now approaching its four-year mark. "I'm worried about any loss of focus during a full-scale war," Zelensky told reporters. He added, however, that the dispute surrounding the autonomous Danish island and Ukraine should not be seen as "interchangeable".

Note: This may be my last posting of the daily meditations for a few days. I am having surgery tomorrow morning to remove my main tumor in my colon and will be in the hospital for a few days. Please keep me in your prayers. God willing, I'll be back soon. Thank you, and may God bless you all.Daily Readings from the USCCB“The sabbath was made for man, not man for the sabbath. That is why the Son of Man is lord even of the sabbath” Mark 2:27–28Today’s Gospel should console those who struggle with a legalistic and scrupulous mindset....

President Trump trolled European leaders over Greenland by sharing an AI-generated picture of himself planting a US flag on the autonomous Danish territory — as he leaked fawning text messages from world statesmen ahead of the high-stakes Davos summit this week. The image, shared by the president early Tuesday on Truth Social, shows Trump marking his territory, followed by Vice President JD Vance and Secretary of State Marco Rubio. It also features a sign declaring Greenland a “US territory est. 2026.” In a separate AI-generated picture shared by the defiant commander-in-chief, European leaders — including British Prime Minister Keir Starmer,...

Tens of thousands of workers are expected to leave work early Tuesday to protest the one-year anniversary of President Trump’s second inauguration. Nerly 40,000 people RSVP’d to participate in a 2 p.m. Free America Protest, according to Axios. Free America encourages demonstrators to meet Tuesday wearing red, white and blue in locations including Central Park, Prospect Park, Washington Square Park and Trump Tower in Midtown. At least 800 events associated with that movement are slated for what’s shaping up to be a frigid afternoon in New York City. “This is not a request. This is a rupture. This is a...

Speaking from Davos, Al Gore blames mass migration, Brexit, and the rise of Viktor Orbán on "climate change". 🤡 "The World Health Organisation... says that by 2050, we could have one to two billion climate migrants crossing international borders." "A few million coming from the eastern Mediterranean—with the climate drought there—led to Viktor Orbán, and Brexit, and authoritarian-friendly governments that have emerged." "It's hard to imagine what a billion climate migrants would do to our capacity for self-governance."

Police in Queensland, Australia are investigating the death of a 19-year-old woman after her body was found surrounded by wild dogs on a beach at K’Gari, formerly known as Fraser Island. The island, a UNESCO world heritage site, lies off Australia’s eastern coast and attracts hundreds of thousands of visitors each year. "Would you like a red-hot poker with your acid bath, señor? El Helicoide — The inside is even more punishing than the outside.Presenting, in honor of Nicolás Maduro, El Helicoide — or the Helix — in Caracas, Venezuela, the regime’s temple of pain. . . a prison and torture facility run by the National Intel Service of Venezuela, Wikipedia sez: “Its construction was undertaken by a private company during the government of then-president Marcos Pérez Jiménez in 1956, designed by the architects Pedro Neuberger, Dirk Bornhorst and Jorge Romero Gutiérrez. The project was to have included 300 boutiques, eight cinemas,...

“They threw us out like we were trash,” Judy Morales said. She, her husband, Eugene, and their children were all displaced when a fire ripped through their home last year. “We were staying at the Airbnb because of the fire,” Eugene said. What happened in the weeks after the blaze tested them. “From the first day we checked in, we started having concerns.” The Morales family said the rental house wasn’t in as safe of a neighborhood as advertised, and they had an incident with someone in the area who made them feel unsafe. They brought their concerns to the...

A "racial equity" and "restorative justice" nonprofit funded by Minnesota taxpayers is calling for donations to a new bail fund that’s helping free anti-ICE agitators and illegal immigrants detained in Minneapolis. The Legal Rights Center, which Minnesota attorney general Keith Ellison led for five years, is promoting the People’s Bail Fund of Minnesota through Know Your Rights MN, a Legal Rights Center project that provides legal information and resources for activists. The project’s website was updated Thursday to include a link to the bail fund, which only secured nonprofit status last week and is actively "accepting requests for ICE protest...

Youtube and its parent company Google deserves to be sued. For the past three weeks YouTube has been hosting a video that is a calculated lie, falsely accusing me of taking money from Venezuela’s Nicolás Maduro. It refused to remove the video. It is, of course, a ludicrous accusation, but paid trolls are daily spreading this lie across the internet. This untruth is essentially an accusation of treason, which then leads the internet mob to call for my death. Advocating for liability for Google is no small step for me. I have long defended the private-property rights of internet companies...

In this episode of The Winston Marshall Show, I sat down with Iranian activist and campaigner Lily Moo for a harrowing and urgent conversation on the unfolding crisis inside Iran, the collapse of the Islamic Republic’s legitimacy, and the fight for freedom. Lily explains what she is hearing directly from contacts and family inside Iran amid widespread blackouts, mass arrests, and violent crackdowns by the IRGC. We discuss the scale of the protests, the reported death toll, and why many Iranians believe the country is now in a revolutionary moment rather than another failed uprising...... A powerful and deeply personal...

Five simple steps are all it takes to reclaim control of your news feed. Gone are the days when you type hot-button topics — say “latest on border security” or “ICE protests” — into Google and are forced to sift through the same list of mainstream left-wing propaganda while the sources you trust are intentionally buried. In an act nothing short of miraculous, Google recently handed power back to the user with a new tool called the Preferred Sources feature. With a few clicks of a button, you can personalize your news-related search results so that your most pressing questions...

With the attack on the Cities Church, the Minnesota Nice lefties have crossed a clear line. They’re no longer tribunes of the people, defenders of the oppressed, or speakers of truth to power. No…. now they’re living a dream. They’re giving full expression to their fantasy lives as Bolsheviki storming the Winter Palace, Red Guards liquidating the bourgeoisie, and Khmer Rouge cutting down everybody they come across, with all that implies -- terror, violence, destruction, and bloodshed. So we hear the cries of “why won’t Trump do something…” Why doesn’t he make his move? Why doesn’t he send in the...

Silver was up nearly 148 percent in 2025, and the price has continued to climb in the new year, trading over $90 an ounce. With the rapid gain, silver now ranks as the second-most valuable asset in the world with a market cap of $5.35 trillion. The only asset more valuable than silver is gold, with a market cap of $32.5 trillion. Last week, silver blew past AI chip giant NVIDIA (market cap of $4.53 trillion). It has also surpassed stock market tech darlings Apple, Microsoft, Amazon, and Alphabet. Several dynamics have converged to drive silver higher, including spillover effects...

These days, AI surveillance systems are everywhere. They’re watching our roads, tracking our purchases at the grocery store, and even monitoring school bathrooms. Yet those systems come with a harmful catch — they’re a little too good at flagging bad behavior, leading to a staggering number of arrests and involuntary detentions.New reporting by the Milwaukee Independent found that schools deploying surveillance systems to watch for online chatter referencing violence have logged an astonishing number of positive hits. Many of them are obviously not actionable threats, though they can lead to involuntary detention all the same.In one school district in Lawrence,...
