As previously reported, Tish Hyman says she was kicked out of a Gold’s Gym after confronting a biological male who entered the women’s locker room while she was naked. Hyman, who identifies as a lesbian and outspoken advocate for women’s spaces, detailed the horrifying encounter on Facebook, where she described being naked and vulnerable when she turned around to find a man, dressed in “boy clothes” and lip gloss, staring at her. “This person told me he was a woman and demanded that I leave the women’s locker room. He said, “Straight women like dick, and they’re probably looking at...

Former New Hampshire state Rep. Stacie-Marie Laughton, once touted as the nation’s first openly “transgender” elected lawmaker, has pleaded guilty to federal child sex abuse charges. According to ABC affiliate WMUR-TV, Laughton, a 41-year-old male, entered the plea this month in a Boston federal courtroom to charges that included sexual exploitation of children. Prosecutors said Laughton conspired with his former girlfriend, Lindsay Groves, to exploit children at Creative Minds, a daycare center in Tyngsboro, Massachusetts, where Groves worked. Groves admitted last month that in 2022, she photographed nude children under the age of five and sent at least four images...

* The Moody Bible Institute of Chicago sued the Chicago Board of Education, claiming religious discrimination after Chicago Public Schools barred its students from the district’s student teaching program. * The district said that Moody’s hiring policies, which require employees to uphold Christian beliefs on marriage and sexuality, violate its anti-discrimination rules on religion, gender identity, and sexual orientation. * Alliance Defending Freedom (ADF), the legal nonprofit representing Moody, argues the district is unlawfully excluding the college because of its religious mission and seeks a federal court injunction to protect Moody’s students’ access to the program. An Illinois Christian college...

Pastors from across Michigan, across the country, and across the Body of Christ gathered in Bay Harbor, MI from November 4th to 6th at a training camp run by Liberty Pastors , to learn how to activate their congregations on key issues facing America and the Church today. The training camp came just before the Michigan March for Life, which took place on Nov. 6th in Lansing. Some of the gathered pastors from Michigan, of course, had groups from their churches going to the march. I was privileged to address the pastors on abortion, and then to participate in the...

Florida’s attorney general has launched a sweeping lawsuit against Planned Parenthood, accusing the nation’s largest abortion company of deceptive advertising that downplays the severe risks of chemical abortion pills. The lawsuit could potentially cost the pro-abortion organization up to $350 million in penalties. The 37-page complaint, filed last week under the Florida Deceptive and Unfair Trade Practices Act, targets Planned Parenthood’s claims that the abortion drug mifepristone is “safer than Tylenol.” State officials allege the assertions are not only false but have endangered women’s lives and fueled billions in profits for the group, with a staggering 500% profit margin on...

Several years ago, I traveled to Amsterdam as part of the National Right to Life delegation for a multi-issue pro-family conference. The event brought together representatives from dozens of countries and organizations working in maternal health, children’s welfare, family policy, and religious freedom. Over the course of four days, the conference addressed a spectrum of bioethical concerns: euthanasia, adoption, trafficking, and the global expansion of abortion access under the guise of reproductive health. Our delegation included Dr. Wanda Franz, then president of National Right to Life, and her husband, Dr. Gunter Franz, as well as Olivia Gans. We installed NRLC’s...

@BethRigby Chatter has been swirling for days about a challenge to Starmer. As per @patrickkmaguire, I was also told this week by PM allies that Starmer will fight any challenge to his leadership rather than stand aside as No 10 operation goes on the attack ahead of a difficult Budget. The argument being made by PM allies is that any challenge would precipitate a drawn-out leadership election process, will spook the markets, and only create more chaos and further damage Labour brand. Am told that the PM is determined to fight on and has no intention of giving way just...

Zohran Mamdani campaigned to become the mayor of New York City by promising a series of expensive plans including free child care, rent freezes and free buses. As I pointed out here, the cost of these proposals is unknown but is expected to be wildly expensive. The free child care element could cost the city around $6 billion per year, equal to the entire NYPD budget. His plan for free buses is expected to cost another $800 million, but again it could be more.So where is he going to get the money to pay for all of this? Well, most...

A University of Toledo Medical Center surgery resident has been suspended from practicing medicine in Ohio after admitting to secretly obtaining and administering abortion drugs to a pregnant woman. The Ohio State Medical Board on November 5 issued an emergency suspension of Dr. Hassan-James Abbas’ medical license, finding “clear and convincing evidence” that his actions posed “an immediate danger” to the public. The board’s notice detailed Abbas’ alleged use of his estranged wife’s personal information to order the drugs and his subsequent forcible administration of them to his girlfriend, who had refused an abortion. The woman, who is seeking a...

The United States isn't supposed to be a place for political dynasties. Oh, I know, we've had a few; Roosevelts, Kennedys, Bushes, and so forth. But it's supposed to be something we, as a nation, eschew. Especially when the possible dynasty carries the name "Pelosi." Former Speaker of the House of Representatives Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) is, as we reported here at RedState, finally retiring. Finally! She does have all that money she made with her amazing acumen for buying and selling stocks, after all, time for her to go enjoy the boodle. Now the question becomes, who will replace her?...

The unidentified suspect approached a woman sitting on a bench at the UIC-Halstead CTA Blue Line stop in the city's Near West Side at around 11.14pm on Saturday. He then took a knife out of his backpack and stabbed the woman in the chest. The man then fled the scene northbound on South Morgan Street - but not before being caught on surveillance footage with the apparently bloody knife still in his right hand. Police described the suspect as an African American male who stands approximately six feet tall and weighs between 160 to 180 pounds

A tailored approach of vitamin D3 supplementation in patients who have suffered a heart attack significantly reduces their risk of a second heart attack, a new study finds. In a large, randomized clinical trial, researchers found that treating heart attack patients in a "target to treat" fashion, where patients' blood levels of vitamin D were monitored and vitamin D3 dosing adjusted to achieve optimal levels, cut their risk of a second heart attack in half. The study, called the TARGET-D trial, enrolled patients from April 2017 to May 2023 and included 630 patients who had a heart attack within a...

It's well known that exercise is good for your brain. For years, scientists have shown even a single session of heart-pumping activity can sharpen executive function—the mental skills we use to plan, focus attention, remember instructions and juggle tasks. But what happens when movement isn't an option? Matthew Heath and his team set out to determine if they could elicit the same exercise-induced brain response in a way that doesn't require movement. They studied a technique called intermittent hypoxia, a method that temporarily reduces the amount of oxygen a person breathes, then restores it to normal, repeating the cycle over...

Wall Street’s AI-driven rally just got another vote of confidence. UBS (UBS) set its S&P 500 (^GSPC) forecast to 7,500 by the end of 2026 in a note on Monday, citing strong corporate earnings and gains in a resilient technology sector. According to the bank’s just-published global economics and markets outlook, UBS forecasts S&P 500 earnings growth of 14.4% year over year in 2026. About half of those gains are expected to come from the technology sector — a sign that the "Magnificent Seven" will keep powering overall corporate profits, even as other sectors play catch-up. The firm described the...

The U.S. Marshals Service has located and returned dozens of missing children in Memphis, Tennessee, over the past several weeks, the law enforcement agency announced. John F. Kennedy’s grandson, Jack Schlossberg, is running for Congress, launching a campaign to replace retiring Democratic Rep. Jerry Nadler. The 32-year-old Democratic influencer announced his candidacy on his Instagram page, saying in part, "There is nowhere I’d rather be than in the arena fighting for my hometown. Over the next eight months, during the course of this campaign, I hope to meet as many of you as I can. If you see me on the street, please say hello. If I knock on your door, I hope we can have a conversation. Because politics should be personal. Thanks more...

The U.S. and Switzerland are getting close to signing a trade deal to lower tariffs of 39% that President Donald Trump slapped on the country in August. The president confirmed on Monday that White House officials were “working on a deal to get the tariffs a little lower.” “I haven’t set any number, but we’re going to be working on something to help Switzerland,” he told reporters in the Oval Office. “We hit Switzerland very hard. But we want Switzerland to remain successful,” he added, saying the country had been a “very good ally.” The tariff on Swiss exports could...

Traces of a monumental building thought to be at least 5,000 years old have been discovered at the Kani Shaie archaeological site, which is located in the foothills of the Zagros Mountains in northern Iraq, according to a statement released by the University of Coimbra. Researchers from the University of Coimbra, the University of Algarve, the University of Cambridge, and the Slemani Antiquities and Heritage Directorate think that the building may have been used as a temple. They note that it was decorated with wall cones, which are typically found in monumental architecture in Uruk, an early Sumerian metropolis in...
