FATHER GOD,
You are the King of glory – strong and mighty in battle! You are the mighty One who will save! You go with us to fight for us against our enemies to give us victory! Praise Your mighty Name forever and ever!
Thank you for America’s veterans – brave men and women who enlisted in the armed forces for the past 250 years and were willing to give their all for the sake of freedom and liberty. May their service be honored and remembered. Bless the veterans who are still living and provide for them in their old age.
May Americans remember to thank the veterans that they see and pray for them. Only you know the struggles they face and what many go through daily.
Comfort the families and friends who have lost loved ones in active duty. Give hope and purpose to those who have lost limbs and live with wartime wounds. Draw near to veterans with emotional scars, PTSD, mental illness, and survival guilt.
May we Americans be grateful for the brave warriors who live among us and see that they receive good medical care, housing, and pensions.
Most importantly, help us to be watchmen of the wall, making sure the foundations that make America great do not crumble. WAKE UP citizens – especially young people - to the danger of Islam, Communism, Socialism that has crept into governmental power.
Enlist us in Your army to take back America for righteousness’ sake.
If My people, who are called by My name, will humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land." – 2 Chronicles 7:14

and much love and gratitude for the real sacrifices our veterans (esp. those here at FR) have always freely made for America. to paraphrase one of our greatest men: the tree of liberty must often be watered with the blood of patriots.
