“Passive income.” That’s the sales pitch for rentals. Tenants cover the mortgage, you collect the rent, the property appreciates, and you’re off sipping margaritas. Sounds dreamy… until Saturday morning shows up with a broken appliance. Ask me how I know. Here’s the reality from my own ledger: one of my rental properties in the Finger Lakes, NY area is locked at $2,200/month. That’s the ceiling. Meanwhile the expense list has no ceiling. In the last year alone I replaced the gas range, microwave and dishwasher. That’s just a tiny sample of a seemingly never-ending list of surprise expenses. “Passive” income?...

The left is recounting all of Charlie Kirk's right wing, racist, homophobic comments---all of which have likely been distorted. A WAPO woke editor was fired for posting on BlueSky:: "Black women do not have the brain processing power to be taken seriously. You have to go steal a white person's slot." -Charlie KirkContext is absent. He did say SC justice Katenji-Brown was not smart enough to interpret the constitution. IF he spoke the words as charged, he was surely repeating charges against him.

When Manners Disappear: A Society Without RestraintManners are often dismissed as superficial — just a list of rules about saying “please” or chewing with your mouth closed. But at their core, manners are much more than that. They are the quiet architecture that holds a civilized society together. They are the social grease that allows people to live near one another, work together, share space, and not come to blows over every disagreement. It’s my belief that societies create manners not just to promote politeness, but to control human emotions — especially the more destructive ones: anger, resentment, jealousy, and cruelty....

A transgender author fired from writing a prestigious comic book after belittling Charlie Kirk's murder has now mocked the late conservative star's appearance. Gretchen Felker-Martin took to her Patreon crowdfunding website to defend writing '[I] hope the bullet's OK' after Kirk's murder last Wednesday. She wrote: 'I had spent years smelling traces of the poison fumes he left in his wake, seeing his sneering face, his mouth full of teeth like baby corns and gums like congealed aspic.' Felker-Martin - who previously spoke of her desire to slit Harry Potter author JK Rowling's throat over the novelist's views on transgender...

A shadowy for-profit company and its nonprofit counterpart provide free services to at least 40 far-left prosecutor offices, raising questions about whether it’s working on behalf of taxpayers or of donors who have essentially bought government. The Wren Collective is a shadowy group that emerged from a Cold War-era initiative aimed at promoting Soviet films in the United States. Its current iteration — funded by a former Enron executive and host of other leftist megadonors — claims that America’s “system of policing and mass incarceration is deeply flawed and intractably racist.” The group has intervened on specific criminal cases, written...

Charlie Kirk’s assassination will dominate the headlines—but before the truth is even clear, the disinformation machine is already spinning. This video exposes how suppression, radicalization, and division are weaponized—not by ideology, but by systems designed to keep you outraged, divided, and distracted. We’ll reveal: • Why suppression is the biggest red flag in history—and why it always signals weakness, not strength. • How highly suggestible people are radicalized—not by one side or the other, but through media outrage loops, algorithmic echo chambers, and deliberate manipulation. • The illusion of “left vs. right”—a distraction designed to pit neighbors against each other...

Rep. Jasmine Crockett has compared the work of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents to “slave patrols” during an appearance on MSNBC’s Velshi on Sunday morning. “As somebody who understands history, when I see ICE, I see slave patrols,” she remarked. “If you understand the history of policing in this country, then you understand that they were born out of slave patrols.” Watch: VIDEO AT LINK................ ICE agents are responsible for enforcing America’s immigration laws and carrying out the mass deportations that President Trump campaigned on. Slave patrols were historically organized groups of armed militias in the American South, who...

The FBI confirmed Monday morning DNA samples found at the spot where Charlie Kirk’s assassin hid positively match the suspect now in custody, Tyler Robinson. FBI Director Kash Patel made the revelation on Fox & Friends. He confirmed DNA matching alleged assassin Robinson, 22, was found on a towel that covered the murder weapon when it was thrown away in nearby woods. A screwdriver found in the sniper’s position on the UVU rooftop also returned a positive match.

The AI argument kicked off in late July, just a day after Trump announced his AI plan — a 28-page strategy to accelerate the technology and build new power infrastructure to supply it. Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) fired off a tirade on X, complaining that AI could create mass poverty by replacing human jobs, and giant AI data centers could have potentially devastating effects on the environment and water supply. In the days that followed, GOP strategist Steven Bannon chimed in, comparing the pursuit of AI superintelligence to “summoning the demon.” And since then, think-tankers and populist conservative outlets...

Many Americans love the feeling of driving a new car, but the price of that thrill is pushing household budgets to the edge. Auto loan delinquencies are spiraling, the nation now owes a staggering $1.66 trillion in auto loans, and some figures show scary similarities to the period right before the 2008 financial crash. That’s according to a new report titled “Driven to Default: The Economy-Wide Risks of Rising Auto Loan Delinquencies” from the Consumer Federation of America (CFA). It describes auto finance in the US as being “at breaking point,” and criticizes Congress and the country’s federal watchdogs for...

On Monday, former Missouri Attorney General Andrew Bailey – once President Trump’s top pick to lead the FBI – will be sworn into a new power-sharing role with deputy FBI Director Dan Bongino. Bailey’s installment comes at a perilous time for FBI Director Kash Patel, whose leadership atop the nation’s premier law enforcement agency is under fire, according to ten sources from multiple federal offices granted anonymity to speak freely. The White House’s reasoning to create an unprecedented office for Bailey has not been explained and left FBI leadership confused, two people at the agency said. "The White House, Bondi,...

Daily Readings from the USCCBStanding by the cross of Jesus were his mother and his mother’s sister, Mary the wife of Clopas, and Mary Magdalene. John 19:25Our Blessed Mother, the Mother of the Son of God, loved her Son with a perfect love. She enfleshed every virtue to perfection. Her love for her Son was a love that was beyond what we could ever imagine. She conceived Him miraculously, bore Him in her womb, gave birth to Him, nursed Him, raised Him and loved Him throughout His life. It’s difficult to even imagine the depth and beauty of the love...

Karen Attiah A left-wing columnist revealed in a Substack on Monday that she was fired by the Washington Post over social media posts amid the assassination of Charlie Kirk and the Colorado school shooting. "On Bluesky, in the aftermath of the horrific shootings in Utah and Colorado, I condemned America’s acceptance of political violence and criticized its ritualized responses — the hollow, cliched calls for ‘thoughts and prayers’ and ‘this is not who we are’ that normalize gun violence and absolve [W]hite perpetrators especially, while nothing is done to curb deaths," Karen Attiah wrote. Kirk, a leading conservative activist, was...

Researchers have now studied the remains of an infant unearthed during emergency excavations in 2006 at the sacristy of the Siervas de Jesus convent in northwestern Spain, Phys.org reports. What made the initial discovery so unusual was that the infant was actually buried within a building belonging to the former Roman fort of Legio VI Victrix, making it the only child burial ever found in a military context in Iberia. During his reign from 27 b.c. to a.d. 14, the emperor Augustus passed a series of laws that strictly forbade Roman soldiers from marrying during their service time, although these...
