Knives are out for embattled FBI Director Kash Patel, despite Trump support
Fox ^ | September 14, 2025 | Jacqui Heinrich

On Monday, former Missouri Attorney General Andrew Bailey – once President Trump’s top pick to lead the FBI – will be sworn into a new power-sharing role with deputy FBI Director Dan Bongino.

Bailey’s installment comes at a perilous time for FBI Director Kash Patel, whose leadership atop the nation’s premier law enforcement agency is under fire, according to ten sources from multiple federal offices granted anonymity to speak freely. The White House’s reasoning to create an unprecedented office for Bailey has not been explained and left FBI leadership confused, two people at the agency said.

"The White House, Bondi, Blanche have no confidence in Kash," one source with knowledge of ongoing personnel discussions said. "Pam in particular cannot stand him. Blanche either," they said, referring to Attorney General Pam Bondi and her deputy, Todd Blanche.

Bondi and Blanche denied the characterization, and White House officials denied any plans to remove Director Patel from his position.

But allies of President Trump and Patel’s harshest critics have begun to circulate word that contingency plans for Patel’s ouster are forming. They also claim his hopeful successor, Andrew Bailey, made clear that he would not leave his post as Missouri’s AG – or abandon his aspirations to run for state governor – only to serve as Patel’s number two.

I heard him on Fox and Friends this morning. He definitely wanted folks to know it was all about him and what he did to capture the assassin. He’s the one who got the photos out early, he’s the one who walked the scene down himself to help the FBI capture the guy, he’s the one who spoke out too soon on a capture, but it was only because that is what he was told... so on, so forth. He’s in hot water and he knows it, so he had to let everyone know he was engaged and helping the FBI do things faster and with more transparency than ever before.

People just do not seem to understand the amount of corruption that is out there. The more we have fighting it, especially that are not part of the “deep state” FBI, the sooner we see the fruits of their fight.

We just lost a huge leader in this country. Let’s pray these decisions going forward are for seeking the TRUTH and imprisoning or killing those that have used their public trust for illegal purposes.

Some who have will need to be drawn and quartered. Without, the abuse of public trust will not stop.

“”The White House, Bondi, Blanche have no confidence in Kash,” one source with knowledge of ongoing personnel discussions “

Two sources with knowledge of ongoing personnel discussions have strongly stated that the White House, Bondi, Blanche have great confidence and are very happy with in Kash.

Two anonymous sources are twice better than one anonymous source.

Anything to get copy....paid journalists are going to be inherently provocative. Almost as bad as people in the entertainment business. Guy has been on a tough, tough job for less than 8 months and they’re going after him already.
There is always someone a bit better, but give tha man a break.

jacqui is a pot-stirrer. and i often wonder how much of her fiance’s views equal the “some say” phrase she often uses in her reportage. Fitzpatrick is ex-FBI, i believe.

Some reporter is always going to try to make their bones by sowing discord using unnamed “sources” in order to boost ratings and their career. Good law enforcement usually takes time, unfortunately.

In Patel's defense, he did prevent disloyal FBI agents from hiding Robinson's background and affiliations. If not unchecked, the FBI leftists would have obfuscate motives as they did with the Nashville school shooter. A few days ago, the Wall Street Journal was spreading a narrative that Robinson was a “groyper” and a fan of Nick Fuentes. That fable was posted on FR by at least two people who have posted mainstream narratives in the past. Patel prevented fog of war stories and approved circulating enhanced photos of Robinson, resulting in his father turning him in.

Sadly, it’s because he is doing his job that some people are bitching. It’s like ever since we let politicians set the Rules of Engagement in war. Since we did that during the Korean Conflict, the US hasn’t won a war. Methinks there’s a causal relationship there and a lesson to be learned: Let the professional generals set the ROE, and let Patel run the FBI.
