Ever since the launch of the comprehensive war in Ukraine in February 2022, countless working-age Russians have been summoned for military service. The armed forces are facing tremendous strain to locate fresh recruits for deployment to the battlefront as replacements for those who have been killed or wounded. Russia has endured massive...

Despite being officially retired in 2008, the U.S. Air Force has confirmed that a fleet of approximately 45 F-117A Nighthawk stealth aircraft (or commonly known as the F-117 Stealth Fighter) will continue flying until at least 2034. The iconic jets are not designed for combat, but now serve in critical new roles. They act as “red air” aggressors for realistic pilot training, test advanced technologies like new “mirror-like” coatings, and serve as proxies for other stealth platforms.

The View has abruptly gone on hiatus following co-host Joy Behar’s latest unhinged anti-Trump rant, a tirade so inflammatory that it prompted a warning from the White House. After years of pushing partisan narratives and ridiculing conservative voices, the show may finally be facing real consequences for its unchecked rhetoric. The break comes amid mounting calls for media accountability and a renewed effort by the Trump administration to rein in platforms that use their airtime to smear political opponents under the guise of daytime entertainment. "Before we go on hiatus, we only have one more show after this. I’m allowed...

During the first half of 2025, a new record was set for the number of deaths caused by climate and weather disasters. Can you guess what that record was? If you read left-wing media sources, and believe anything they say, you might think that the recent record has something to do with a large and growing number of deaths. Recent articles in sources like CNN, MSNBC, the New York Times, and CBS News all explicitly claim that climate change is making weather events “deadlier,” or leading to increasing numbers of deaths, or some variation of that same message. I’m sure...

Imagine yourself in a 13th-century North African prison where you are being held for refusing to renounce your Catholic faith. Conditions are cruel, and you are losing hope of seeing your family again. You wonder if it wouldn’t be so bad to convert to Islam. Then an angel in white appears at your cell with the jailor, who unlocks the door. All at once, you are free to return to your home in Spain. The angel is a monk from the Order of the Blessed Virgin Mary of Mercy (also known as the Order of Mercy or the Mercedarians), who...

The other day, a friend told me a story. They have two cats, and one is a mouser; the other used to be. The two cats play, one increasingly settles. Like people, cats can grow older, tired, and settle. Life encourages us to settle, urges us to let things slip a bit, then a bit more, our physical, emotional, and spiritual health, our long-term dreams and hopes, in favor of easier returns, socially approved reference points, dreamlessness, suppressed regrets, shortcuts to wealth. Don’t settle. The media, and modern politics, are among the most insidious, consistently distracting, and ultimately corrosive influences...

Zohran Mamdani hasn’t even been elected New York mayor, but his Democrat primary victory is reshaping his party. A candidate nicknamed “Minneapolis Mamdani” has just secured the endorsement of the Minnesota Democrats and is odds-on to become mayor of the city. Omar Fateh, a 35-year-old socialist, has called for abolishing the police department and replacing them with “peace officers” as part of a new “department of public safety”.

A controversial, Star Wars-style flying speeder bike has gone on sale. A viral video of the space-age Airbike vehicle zipping across the landscape divided opinions earlier this year, with many suggesting computer trickery had been used. However, Polish company Volonaut now says it will go into production in limited numbers at the launch price of £649,000 ($880,000). They also revealed new flight footage with original audio they claim shows Airbike is real. The video shows the small, one-person vehicle — said to be able to fly at 124mph — apparently flying over a test ground, thanks to a loud method...

Two illegal migrants have been hit with federal charges for the shooting of an off-duty US Customs and Border Protection officer who took a bullet to the face during a violent Manhattan robbery, officials announced Thursday. Miguel Francisco Mora Nunez, 21, was charged with possession of ammunition by an illegal alien, and fellow Dominican Republic national Christhian Aybar-Berroa, 22, was hit with accessory after the fact for the July 19 shooting, according to the Department of Homeland Security. Mora Nunez is accused of shooting the 42-year-old officer — who fired back with his own gun during the confrontation Saturday in...

I believe Curtis has been running for mayor for the past 25+ years. After watching this impromptu incident during his recent press conference I’ve come to the conclusion that, if this man had money, he would win the mayorship hands-down. I believe the latest polls have him at 28%. He has refused President Trump‘s endorsement, believing that he can do it himself.

The fishing line snapped — and so did he. A Florida boater tried to kill his wife and dump her body at sea after being set off by a snapped line during a fishing trip — but the bloodied victim clung to the back of the boat and was dragged to shore alive, according to cops. Douglas Naeher, 60, and his unidentified wife of three years took their boat out 33 miles off the coast of Bean Point on Sunday. The husband appeared terse and angry when they pushed off from their private dock at their Holmes Beach pad, the...

The Democratic National Committee (DNC) drew widespread mockery Thursday over a since-deleted social media post that showed how the cost of groceries skyrocketed under former President Joe Biden. The X post included a graph of soaring cheese, alcohol, dairy, grocery, produce and meat prices dating back to October 2019, with the major inflection point being near the start of the Biden administration in 2021. “Trump’s America,” read the tweet shared by @TheDemocrats. “Prices are higher today than they were on July 2024 all in major categories listed below,” read the caption on the graphic, which did not note the source...
