Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya, an opposition leader in Belarus, hadn’t heard from her husband Siarhei in more than two years. Not since Belarusian authorities placed him in “incommunicado” detention, in full isolation. And then he called her. “My dear wife,” he said. “I’m free.” He had been released from prison after negotiations between authoritarian leader Alexander Lukashenko and Trump administration officials, and was at the border between Belarus and Lithuania. He and 13 other political prisoners were heading to the American embassy in Vilnius. Tsikhanouskaya and Siarhei have since reintroduced him to their children, traveled to a solidarity rally in Poland and...

Welp, good luck getting through this one with dry eyes. A mother took an incredible video of her son waking up in the hospital after a skateboard accident, and it's going viral for good reason. In the video, which was later posted by a friend, he looks up and says he can see Jesus and his deceased father, who apparently died of cancer a few years ago. He talks to his dad and talks to Jesus, constantly remarking about how beautiful Jesus is. "He has fire eyes..." It recalls John's vision of Jesus from Revelation 19, where he describes his...

The world needs now “to prepare for the regime [in China] to lash out without warning,” according to China expert Gordon Chang in a report at the Gatestone Institute, where he is distinguished senior fellow and a member of the organization’s advisory board. He cited “rumors” that Xi Jinping is losing control and will lose both his Communist Party and Chinese government posts in the next few months – as well as those who say “little or nothing is out of place and Xi is fine.” “Whatever the truth,” he said, now is the time when Xi may “have reason...

The Ukraine Recovery Conference 2025 (URC) on July 10-11 in Rome concluded with joint agreements to provide Ukraine with 3.55 billion euros for reconstruction. “We received a clear message from Ukraine’s friends and partners: they are ready to invest in our recovery,” Oleksii Kuleba, Deputy Prime Minister for the Restoration of Ukraine and Minister for the Development of Communities and Territories stated. There is false hope that Ukraine will exist after this prolonged conflict. The Ministry approved of five agreements worth over 370 million euros during this conference. The Italian Foreign Ministry agreed to offer 100% insurance coverage for banks...

We’ve noted before that today’s Democrats are operating with a mental deficit. A new poll further confirms they are a broken people. While it’s good for a cheap laugh, because they are often smug, condescending and hateful to those who disagree with them, their fragile psychological state poses a threat to the republic. A Rasmussen poll released Monday found that 60% of Democratic voters still believe “the Trump campaign colluded with the Russian government to win the 2016 election.” As disturbing as that is, 69% of those who self-identify as “liberals” believe Donald Trump conspired with Moscow to beat Hillary...

In October of 2023, the government of Saskatchewan passed Bill 137, otherwise known as “The Parent’s Bill of Rights”. The law prevents children under the age of 16 from changing their names or pronouns at school without a parent’s consent. The bill also allows parents to prohibit their children from receiving sexual education at school. When the bill first passed, education minister Jeremy Cockrill shared in a statement that parents have the right to know what is being taught at their child’s school. “The Parents’ Bill of Rights’ is an inclusionary policy that ensures that parents are at the forefront...

American Statesmanship for the Golden AgeWe all should have a profound sense of gratitude for the many blessings our nation has given us.Editors’ NoteThis a lightly edited version of Vice President Vance’s remarks as prepared for the Claremont Institute’s 2025 Statesmanship Award Dinner.California generally—and Claremont in particular—has produced some of the most profound and revolutionary conservative thinkers of the last half-century.And for a great many of them, it’s because they understood what’s at stake if we abandon our American identity. And we’re lucky enough to have a few of them, like Michael Anton, now working in the administration with us.Now, Claremont...

🇺🇸Pray For The Peace of Jerusalem 🇮🇱(7/15/25)[Prayer]Water, Rivers, and Streams in the BibleJoshua 7:4-53When they returned to Joshua, they said, “Not all the army will have to go up against Ai. Send two or three thousand men to take it and do not weary the whole army, for only a few people live there.” 4So about three thousand went up; but they were routed by the men of Ai, 5who killed about thirty-six of them. They chased the Israelites from the city gate as far as the stone quarries and struck them down on the slopes. At this the hearts...

President Zelensky has an unlikely ally in the White House: Melania Trump. The first lady, who grew up in the former Yugoslavia, has been reminding her husband of the deadly toll of Russian airstrikes on Ukrainian cities and is thought to have played a role in convincing the president to sign off the delivery of Patriot air defence missiles to Kyiv this week. -snip- Her interest in the Ukraine war can be explained by her background. Born behind the Iron Curtain in 1970, in the former Yugoslavia, Melania has previously described her admiration for Ronald Reagan, the president who helped...

A speechwriter for former President Barack Obama suggested in a guest essay on Sunday that it might be time to stop shunning conservatives over a disagreement with their politics. David Litt wrote in The New York Times that he felt "a civic duty" to be rude to his brother-in-law, citing his support for Joe Rogan and disagreements over the COVID-19 pandemic and vaccines. "My frostiness wasn’t personal. It was strategic. Being unfriendly to people who turned down the vaccine felt like the right thing to do. How else could we motivate them to mend their ways?" Litt wrote.

@SenRandPaul In July 2023, I referred Dr. Anthony Fauci to the Department of Justice for lying under oath to Congress. His own emails directly contradicted his sworn testimony. @NYT reports Fauci was quietly pardoned by an autopen, operated by Biden’s staff. If the President didn’t authorize this pardon personally, then the Department has a duty to investigate and prosecute as it would any ordinary citizen. Fauci has been sainted by the extremist Left, but it doesn’t erase his lying before Congress. I am officially re-referring Dr. Fauci to the @DOJ .

Most people posing as journalists must have had their curiosity gene removed. Most of their reporting consists of regurgitating Democrat talking points with no questions asked. Any government spending or personnel cuts are treated as if they would destroy the United States. They accuse anyone who supports cutting the size and scope of government of being a dictator and fascist, showing they have no idea what a dictator or fascist does, or they just don’t care. Here are some things that the media should have questions about. The information is derived through simple internet searches: The Trump administration is looking...

A grieving couple have been inundated with hateful criticism after their excited child ran ahead of them on holiday and fell to her death from a huge cliff. Bianca Zanella and her family were on vacation last Thursday when the 11 year-old ran away from her father and tumbled down Fortaleza Canyon in Cambará do Sul, a city in the southern state of Rio Grande do Sul. She died on impact. Zanella's parents and her two younger brothers returned to Curitabá – where they reside in the nearby state of Paraná – on Friday and the little girl's body arrived...

An Australian small business owner says she lost about $50,000 after Instagram suspended her accounts over what she describes as an innocent photo of three dogs. Rochelle Marinato, managing director at Pilates World Australia, recently received an email from Instagram's parent company Meta stating her accounts had been suspended because the image breached community guidelines relating to 'child sexual exploitation, abuse and nudity'. The photo had been mistakenly flagged by an AI moderator which confused the image of the dogs with those of children. 'I spent three weeks researching how to get my account back. In that time our revenue...

“It’s dark on the Left now. They’ve reached that predictable moment where inflicting pain is all they have left.“ — Sasha Stone. Theories on the Epstein mess fly around like a murmuration of starlings wheeling across an angry summer sky. The birds are just birds. They are not the storm clouds in the background. Mark the difference. You can rightly say that Mr. Trump has handled this Epstein business rather awkwardly — especially last Wednesday’s little show of vexation in the cabinet meeting, barking, nothing to see. . . just move along. What? You’ve been watching the Epstein psychodrama unspool...

An endorsement event for Zohran Mamdani, the Democratic nominee for New York City mayor, came to an abrupt end Monday when he was pulled offstage by a campaign aide. After accepting the American Federation of Musicians, Local 802's endorsement, Mamdani answered a few questions about former Gov. Andrew Cuomo deciding to stay in the race as an independent candidate and his upcoming meeting with House Minority Leader Rep. Hakeem Jeffries, D-N.Y. About 20 minutes into the event, before Mamdani could continue answering reporters' questions, his campaign staffers stepped in to say: "I think we're done here. We're going to go....

A group of German industrial labor representatives has broken ranks. In an open letter to Chancellor Friedrich Merz, they fiercely criticize Berlin’s climate policy. Will their defiance ignite a firestorm -- or vanish in the memory hole crafted by media gatekeepers? I must admit: after years of bitter disappointment in the fight for rational energy discourse, I view initiatives like this with cautious pessimism. In Germany, climate policy has become the domain of a paternalistic triad -- politics, media, and public compliance. The first casualty? Open debate. The air is thick with passive-aggressive apocalypse. Criticizing the Green Deal is a...
