Is There No Cure For Democrats’ Derangement?

We’ve noted before that today’s Democrats are operating with a mental deficit. A new poll further confirms they are a broken people. While it’s good for a cheap laugh, because they are often smug, condescending and hateful to those who disagree with them, their fragile psychological state poses a threat to the republic.

A Rasmussen poll released Monday found that 60% of Democratic voters still believe “the Trump campaign colluded with the Russian government to win the 2016 election.” As disturbing as that is, 69% of those who self-identify as “liberals” believe Donald Trump conspired with Moscow to beat Hillary Clinton.

The poll indicates that Trump Derangement Syndrome is not limited to the Democratic side: 45% of moderates also believe in the Russia hoax, while 27% of conservatives hold the same view. (Are there really that many Never Trumpers on the right?)

For the record, the Trump-Russia partnership was a fabrication set loose by Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton and a number of Democratic Party minions. More than two years ago, special counsel John Durham released a report, compiled over three years, that, according to CNN, “concluded that the FBI should never have launched a full investigation into connections between Donald Trump’s campaign and Russia during the 2016 election.”

The FBI probe, said Durham, was based on “raw, unanalyzed and uncorroborated intelligence” and corrupted by “confirmation bias.”

In other words, there was nothing to investigate, because the entire rancid stew was concocted to drive Trump from the presidency. “President Obama” and then-CIA Director John Brennan “knew before the FBI opened up on that information that this was a dirty trick by Hillary Clinton,” says John Solomon, chief executive and editor in chief of Just the News.

Much of the blame for the Democrats’ belief in the myth goes to the press, which put its full faith in the fraudulent story and convinced tens of millions of readers, viewers and listeners that Trump was, if not a Russian agent, a collaborator with Moscow in a plan to ensure his election. Two legacy outlets, the New York Times and Washington Post even shared a Pulitzer Prize for covering a lie as if it were the truth. They won’t return the prize and the craven Pulitzer board won’t rescind it.

Of course the Democrats chose then as they choose now to believe a big lie. It’s consistent with their dark personality qualities, their “high narcissistic and psychopathic traits,” their penchant for always looking for “opportunities for positive self-presentation and displays of moral superiority, to gain social status, to dominate others, and to engage in social conflicts and aggression to satisfy their need for thrill seeking.”

Democrats even admit they need help – 45% of those who say they’re liberals believe they have poor mental health. Only only one in five say their mental health is excellent and just one in four say it is very good.

Conservatives, on the other hand, are more stable. Nine in 10 self-report their mental health to be excellent (51%) or very good (39%).

Our republic can never function in a healthy manner when half of the two-party system is institutionally unbalanced. Rather than throw tantrums, actively divide the nation and live well beyond the fringe, Democrat leaders need to focus on restoring the mental health of their candidates, officials and voters. It’s their obligation to the country.

Blah, blah, blah. This is talking about Trump vs. Dems. in 2028, it won’t be Donald J. Trump ; it will be some candidate on the Republican side vs. some candidate on the Democrat ticket. When the dem gets less than 49% of the vote, then this holds true. In the meantime, almost 1/2 of the votes counted are for the dem candidate, and all of this weeping and moaning doesn’t mean a thing.

/

What should we do about them?

/ I suspect a RICO colonoscopy, polygraphs and severe maximum jail terms or death sentences for convicted traitors would be an effective answer to those questions.

"Is There No Cure For Democrats’ Derangement?"

Sure.! They've caught the commie syndrome. One Lead ball, taken with a teaspoon of gunpowder. That'll cure it in no time at all.

Democrat leaders need to focus on restoring the mental health of their candidates, officials and voters. It’s their obligation to the country.

The current Dem party leaders feel no such obligation to the country; they rely on the sickness of their constituency.

Change will depend on whether R taxpayers can gather the strength to exercise "tough love" and let the Dem party fail at the local, voter level.

I.e., no more taxpayer bailouts where Dem policies fail.

That was well-written, precise and absolutely terrifying!

If Socialist Democrats were rabid dogs, the answer would be easy enough. But, with a dog at least you can treat it for it’s illness and it won’t object. Or bite you. Maybe. ;)

Recall that Hillary and other communists recommended that MAGA be rounded up and sent to reeducation campaigns. Liberals could benefit from a few months in a political hygiene camp. We could kidnap them off the street and put them in unmarked cars. That would be fun.

We need to win. Specifically, not only unroot the corruption and rot at the federal level, return energy independence, unshackle individual success, and enact the rest of the MAGA agenda so that people see and experience the fruits of a sane approach to life.

Time and experience is the best cure. When people get what they worked for, and work for what they get, their minds change. When they receive what they didn’t work for, and work only to see it stolen away, despair and dependence follow.

Additionally, and this is the hard part IMO, we have to allow and encourage our youth to get into the institutions overrun by the left. Specifically, media and education. The “long march through the institutions” isn’t just a meme, but reality — when the people calling the shots at the paper and deciding what airs on TV aren’t rabid communists, when the people teaching kids aren’t thinking “activism” but “reading, writing, and ‘rithmatic” the barrage of insanity stops.

This is the hard part because the tendency for able, sane people is to *do* something, not *tell* something or *teach* something, but it needs doing.

It’s a chronic, no-cure, dibilitating mental disease.
Society used to keep such folks in rubber rooms in an asylum.

No. They took over the schools and the media, it is ingrained in leftists to be illogical and reactionary.

the cure is them being beat at the presidential level by someone other than Trump. Then and only then will they be forced to deal with the extremists in their own party.

Keep pushing the line that they are tools of giant corporations who use government to push the people out of work so that they can cash in on foreign investments. Then show the damage to the environment by a policy of "preservation." Show that there are jobs in stewardship of the land.

It won't get all of them, but it will cleave off a chunk, thus isolating said corporate toadies.

Stalin had a permanent answer for his problems. So did Mao, Pol Pot and Hitler.

I hope it never comes to that. But, if the rats get full control we will be their problem and they might go full Stalin on us.

I don’t know what the answer is. What I do know is there is a huge flaw in our political and legal system that allowed this democrat/communist problem to grow and fester.
