There’s been a new, disturbing development in the case of the Chinese plot to interfere in the 2020 election. As PJ Media previously reported, on Monday, FBI Director Kash Patel handed Congress an intelligence report exposing a Chinese plot to interfere in the 2020 election. The report details how Chinese operatives mass-produced fake U.S. driver’s licenses to flood the system with fraudulent mail-in ballots, which helped Joe Biden in the process. However, the intel wasn’t investigated, corroborated, or acted on. In fact, it was quietly pulled from intelligence agencies even as then-FBI Director Chris Wray told Congress there were “no...

Hello, this is Victor Davis Hanson for The Daily Signal. Recently we have had two contrasting phenomena. One is that President Donald Trump had issued an executive order suggesting or maybe threatening K-12 sports programs—and indeed, college and higher education as well—that if they allowed biological men to compete in women’s sports, then he was going to consider cutting off federal funds for that. The Daily Signal depends on the support of readers like you. Donate now But at the same time he did it, the number of transgendered women—that is biological men who have transitioned to supposedly women—has increased...

Not long ago, blue states typically outperformed red ones when it came to education. That is changing. Blue states like Oregon and Washington experienced significant drops in reading and math scores for both fourth- and eighth-graders between 2015 and 2024, worse than the national declines during the same period. Mississippi, meantime, gained five points in fourth-grade reading and math and held steady in eighth-grade performance. Louisiana also maintained its scores, defying the negative national trends. Whether you call it the “Mississippi Miracle” or the “Southern Surge,” Republican-led states are rapidly improving student outcomes relative to blue states, thanks to a...

[Catholic Caucus] Bishop Schneider: "The TLM enables doctrinal clarity."Drawing from his own experiences under Soviet persecution, Bishop Schneider encouraged Catholics to be willing to suffer and persevere for the sake of the Catholic Faith and the traditional liturgy (pre-Vatican 2), despite facing “liturgical exile” or persecution within the Church. Strikingly, the prelate’s message was one of hope and joy, exhorting the audience to suffer for the Catholic Faith with joy, confidence, and zeal. After all, we have not entered the Barque of Peter “to escape out of it” but to keep the faith under the banner of Christ the King.Bishop...

There are moments in history when the world needs more than a diplomat. It needs a man of action. A commander. A decider. A leader. This week, when Iran escalated the war with Israel, the rest of the globe issued statements and expressed “grave concern.” President Donald J. Trump left the G7 Summit early, stepped on Air Force One, and went home to get to work. That’s the difference. While the international elites clinked wine glasses and crafted nonbinding resolutions, President Trump did what he always does: led. This was not a war he asked for. It wasn’t one he...

Israel needs a 15-ton ‘bunker buster’ bomb to destroy the last untouched nuclear facility in Iran, but only the US has one. Such a powerful weapon – the largest non-nuclear bomb in the US arsenal – is needed because the target, Fordow Fuel Enrichment Plant, is built some 300 feet inside a mountain near the city of Qom, two hours south of Tehran. The heavyweight explosive is known as a GBU-57A/B Massive Ordnance Penetrator and was designed by Boeing for the United States Air Force. Its huge weight means it can only be delivered with a B-2 Spirit stealth bomber...

In a total capitulation to the Trump Administration, Children’s Hospital Los Angeles announced last week that it is shutting down its notorious clinic that foisted sex change procedures on minors. The announcement marks an abrupt shift for the Children’s Hospital, which had earlier seemed inclined to fight the Trump Administration in court over its threat to cut off funding to any hospital that provides so-called gender affirming care for youths.

Israel’s national security adviser, Tzachi Hanegbi, said Tuesday that Israel will not stop fighting the war before it has damaged Iran’s Fordow (or Fordo) nuclear facility, which is buried deep within a mountain. The Times of Israel reported:Israel’s operation against Iran “will not end without damaging the Fordo nuclear facility,” promises National Security Adviser Tzachi Hanegbi in an interview with Channel 12.The site, 90 meters (295 feet) underground, houses thousands of centrifuges to enrich uranium. Israel’s conventional munitions can’t reach that deep, and it would take the US joining the fight to knock it out from the air.“I don’t know...

About 4 years ago, an online acquaintance I eventually knew In Real Life named “Rich” (last name withheld for his family’s anonymity) and I were chatting about firearms. He mentioned he had a Winchester Model 94 lever action in .30-30, octagonal barrel, takedown, open sights, that his Great Grandfather had bought new in Seattle in 1898. Rich had no heirs who would care to have it. So, we kinda agreed that if and when he ever considered disposing of it, that he would call me, as I live just 40 miles away. Two years passed, and Rich called: “I...

A senior Israeli source speaking to Israel Hayom today (Tuesday) says that a "significant" Middle Eastern country - not Israel - has asked President Trump to join the war against Iran's nuclear program to end it quickly. According to the source, the country - which is a bitter foe of Iran - is concerned that Israeli strikes on Iranian economic targets, especially their oil and oil processing facilities, could send prices skyrocketing and harming their economy. At present, the United States is maintaining a defensive posture, providing Israel with weapons and defensive tools, but refusing to attack Iran unless Iran...

The Israel-Iran conflict has entered its fifth day, casting a shadow over Washington as Democratic lawmakers, led by Senator Tim Kaine of Virginia, move to curb President Donald Trump’s authority to wage war against Iran without congressional approval.... Israel’s Operation Rising Lion, launched on June 13, 2025, struck over 100 Iranian targets,...The underground Fordo facility, however, remains largely unscathed, fueling speculation about further Israeli or U.S. action. In response, the U.S. bolstered its regional presence, deploying 12 F-22 Raptor and F-35 Lightning II jets, supported by 30 KC-135 and KC-46 tankers, to bases like Al-Udeid in Qatar, as reported by...

Today (Tuesday), the White House posted on X, quoting President Trump: “Iran should have signed the ‘deal’ I told them to sign. What a shame, and waste of human life. Simply stated, IRAN CAN NOT HAVE A NUCLEAR WEAPON. I said it over and over again! Everyone should immediately evacuate Tehran!” Trump’s rhetoric has oscillated between advocating for diplomacy and issuing threats of military action. For instance, he has pushed for a new nuclear deal since taking office in January 2025, As Iran passed the 60 day limit Trump had given them to come to a deal regarding their nuclear...
