Question about the Constitution.Questions about the Constitution. I wished to seek the opinion of other folks familiar with America’s founding. I assert that the Constitution is not about what the people can and cannot do; the Constitution is solely about what the government can or cannot do. The statement challenged is that “the Constitution is solely about how the newly constituted government is to function within the enumerated powers of legislative.” I also assert that the 13th, 14th, and 15th Amendments are not law. This assertion includes the 18th, 19th, 23th, 24th, and 26th Amendments.

Maybe coffee doesn't need to be the very first step in our morning routines. While it's often associated with wakefulness, experts claim there may be benefits to holding off on that cup of joe for a different time of day. Cortisol, a stress hormone, is highest in our body right as we wake up, according to Julia Zumpano, a registered dietitian with the Cleveland Clinic Center for Human Nutrition. From there, she said, it begins to decline naturally throughout the day. Caffeine is a stimulant, so if it's consumed (by drinking coffee, for example) when cortisol is high, that can...

Sen. Ron Johnson (R-WI) said Wednesday on CNBC’s “Squawk Box” that President Donald Trump’s budget bill will not pass because it has a “grotesque” level of spending. Johnson said, “The president and Senate leadership has to understand that we’re serious. They all say, ‘Oh, we can pressure these guys.’ No, you can’t. Again we’re we’re being very respectful. You know, I ran 2010 as part of the Tea Party Movement. We were mortgaging children’s future. We were $14 trillion in debt then now we’re over $37 trillion. We’re serious about this. They need to take us seriously. Don’t insult us....

Amid mounting public backlash over men competing in women’s sports and adults engaging in perverse sexualized acts in front of children, many corporations are reportedly pumping the brakes on their support for “Pride Month” events this year. But AARP – despite purporting to be a nonpartisan organization – is still going full steam ahead on its Pride Month messaging, continuing a years-long pattern of embracing far-left gender ideology. An article published on AARP’s website on May 30 titled “Pride Month 2025: Making Connections Through Community” makes clear that AARP has no intention of backing down from its full-throated endorsement of...

Russian farmers are begging President Vladimir Putin to help them deal with a massive influx of antelopes that are wreaking havoc on crops and water supplies in the Saratov region. Already dealing with his attempted invasion of Ukraine, Putin now has his own 'invader' to worry about - one that threatens his homeland's food supply. Approximately a million saiga antelopes, recognized by their distinctive, bulbous noses, have reportedly invaded the south-western province, many crossing into Russia from neighboring Kazakhstan. The Saratov region, situated along the Volga River and known as Russia's sixth-largest grain-producing area, has been ravaged by these Eurasian...

Here's yet another reason why we can't have open borders. Over the weekend, United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) finally responded to information that a nightclub called "The Alamo," which was located in an industrial area in Summerville, S.C., may require the agency's attention. Summerville is located in Charleston County and sits about 25 miles northwest of the city of Charleston. The club had no license to operate or sell alcohol, and as far back as November, people filed noise complaints or reported fighting going on in the parking lot. [snip] As it turns out, the nightclub was run...

[Catholic Caucus] Charlotte’s War on Reverence: A Priesthood UndoneRunning the Church of the 60's playbook nicknamed "The Spirit of Vatican II," Bishop Martin of the Diocese of Charlotte is stamping out tradition with the "Spirit of Traditionis Custodes."he leaked Liturgical Norms document from Bishop Michael Martin of the Diocese of Charlotte reads like a parody of 1970s fervor, delivered by a tyrannical hand through a series of ironically rigid dictates. They are poised to cause direct harm to the priests of the diocese and, through their pain, to faithful parishioners. The man who claims that the liturgy is not the...

The economy appears to be booming, consumer confidence is rising, inflation is coming in lower, and job growth higher, than expected. Normally, we’d all be celebrating good news like this. But not when Donald Trump is sitting in the White House. Then it must be ignored or explained away. Ever since Trump took office, we’ve been treated to a steady diet of doomsaying. His tariffs would fuel inflation. He was driving the economy toward a recession. When the Commerce Department reported a slight contraction in the first quarter – so slight that future revisions could show that the economy expanded...

If you were unfamiliar with the American analytics company Palanatir Technologies, prepare to hear about it on every news channel in the coming months. Donald Trump secured the presidency twice because he was the anti-establishment candidate. The White House has tasked Planatir with developing an extensive centralized federal database to house the personal data of every American citizen. In March 2025, Donald Trump signed an “Information Silos” executive order focused on “removing unnecessary barriers to federal employees accessing government data and promoting inter‑agency data sharing are important steps toward eliminating bureaucratic duplication and inefficiency.” Planatir was a clear choice. Daily Readings from the USCCB“I gave them your word, and the world hated them, because they do not belong to the world any more than I belong to the world. I do not ask that you take them out of the world but that you keep them from the Evil One.” John 17:14–15Unfortunately, the evil one is real. He is the highest of the fallen angels who retain their natural spiritual power given them at their creation. God created all angelic creatures with the purpose of serving His holy will. The Scripture reveals that there are nine levels or “choirs”...

Vietnam has eliminated its policy of limiting families to having no more than two children, as the country seeks to boost a declining fertility rate that threatens its long-term economic prospects. The new regulation, approved by the National Assembly on Tuesday, formalizes what had already been common practice for most Vietnamese couples — with the exception of Communist Party officials. Since the fertility policy was introduced in 1988, and until the legal change this week, party members could lose bonuses or be fired for having more than two children. Now, all families can have as many children as they want,...

The senator is pushing for a different approach that would treat people with similar earnings more equally. ************************************************************* Sen. Thom Tillis indicated Tuesday that he wants significant changes to Republicans’ plans to cut taxes on tips, one of President Donald Trump’s top priorities in the megabill now before lawmakers. The House-approved draft of the tip proposal is unfair to people who work in industries where tipping isn’t customary, the North Carolina Republican told POLITICO. He complained that a waiter would qualify for the break but a warehouse worker would not, even if they had similar incomes. Tillis, a tax writer,...
