Our Founding Fathers left us many wonderful works with which to learn more about their lives and beliefs, many of which are in the form of a multitude of letters written to other people or specific-topic-based works. Perhaps the best well-known topic-based work of the Founders is the Federalist Papers, produced by three Founders over the course of some months. Benjamin Rush did something different though, producing a short autobiography about his own life. I do believe there are others who had autobiographies as well but I think they were exceedingly rare among the Founding generation. I suspect very few...

“The best way to destroy an enemy . . . is to make him your friend.”— Stanislav Petrov, The Man Who Saved the WorldHumans—a problem-solving species—cannot solve its worst problem; not today, not tomorrow, not ever. Why is that the case? The solution’s in the hands of states that created it and they don’t want it solved. Some problems go away on their own, and maybe this is one of them. It could happen in the next millisecond or 100 years from now. And, in the aftermath, all other problems—personal and societal—go away. Think about it: No more rigged elections, rampant...

A 25-year-old self-described “pro-mortalist” has been identified as the attacker who detonated a car bomb outside a fertility clinic in Palm Springs Saturday — killing himself and injuring four other people, according to sources. Guy Edward Bartkus, of Twentynine Palms, is believed to have detonated an explosive device in his car outside the American Reproductive Centers, which performs IVF treatments, egg collections and other procedures, law enforcement sources told The Post. Bartkus allegedly described his fanatical pro-death beliefs in written and recorded manifestos as being against bringing people into the world without their consent to spare them from future suffering,...

Statistics for the first three months of the Trump Administration show a sharp decline in crime in several Colorado sanctuary cities. In Denver, homicides deceased by 58%. In Aurora they decreased by 36%. During this three month period, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents arrested 538 illegal aliens from these cities. Trump Administration "Border Czar" Tom Homan explained that "our focus on removing the worst of the foreign criminals preying on American citizens from these communities has significantly improved safety. This is a sharp contrast from the Biden Administration's soft-on-crime attitude that allowed millions of unvetted aliens to invade our...

The race to take on vulnerable Democratic Sen. Jon Ossoff in Georgia expanded Monday after state Insurance Commissioner John King joined Rep. Earl L. “Buddy” Carter in the Republican primary. In a social media post, King, a retired Army National Guard major general and former police chief, highlighted his journey from Mexican native to becoming Georgia’s first Hispanic statewide elected official and sought to tie himself closely to President Donald Trump. “I’m a lawman, soldier, and the first Hispanic elected statewide in Georgia history. Solving problems is what I do,” he wrote Monday on social media. “President Trump needs reinforcements...

By now, you’ve heard the narrative from the media that President Trump’s approval ratings are in the toilet, that Americans are sour on the economy and blame Trump, and that basically Trump is the cause of all of our problems. Heck, even Trump voters have buyer’s remorse. That’s what we’re supposed to believe, anyway. Make no mistake about it, nothing could be further from the truth, and in reality, Democrats have every reason to be panicking right now. Why? Because Trump’s popularity is surging in a blue state. How could the country be revolting against Trump when Trump's popularity is...

Alexander Soros, the son of the 94-year-old Democratic megadonor with the same last name, has laid out his plan to defeat Trumpism. Back in 2023, George Soros shocked the world by handing control of his $25 billion empire to Alexander, who goes by Alex. That's because he is the second youngest of the family and wasn't previously thought to be a natural successor to his dad. Alex was also made the chair of Open Society Foundations, the nonprofit through which Soros has donated billions to Democrats and other progressive causes throughout the years. At that time, the elder Soros said...

Authorities identified the suspect in the explosion at a Palm Springs, California, fertility clinic as Guy Edward Bartkus, 25, of Twentynine Palms, saying at a news conference Sunday that he is the man suspected to have died in the bombing that injured four other people. Akil Davis, the head of the FBI’s Los Angeles field office, said that all embryos at the facility were saved. “Good guys one, bad guys zero,” Davis said. Investigators called the explosion on Saturday an “intentional act of terrorism.” The suspect posted writings online and attempted to record the explosion, though authorities said the video...

DALLAS - Gateway Church founder Robert Morris asked the church for millions of dollars shortly after resigning, the church alleges in court documents filed in Tarrant County. Morris is accused in court documents of asking for a $1 million payout and for the church to pay between $600,000-$800,000 to retirement accounts for himself and his wife for as long as they live. The church said it refused the payments and said that Morris had attempted to circumvent the mediation process. The church is asking the court to issue a stay on Morris' request for an arbitration hearing on the funds,...

Vice President JD Vance and Secretary of State Marco Rubio met with Ukrainian President Vlodomyr Zelenskyy in Rome Sunday for ongoing peace talks as the war between Russia and Ukraine continues. I reaffirmed that Ukraine is ready to be engaged in real diplomacy and underscored the importance of a full and unconditional ceasefire as soon as possible," Zelenskyy shared on X of the meeting. "We have also touched upon the need for sanctions against Russia, bilateral trade, defense cooperation, battlefield situation and...

He's not exactly a buttoned-down Brooks Brothers suit-wearing — or even a beer-drinking MAGA hat-wearing kind of Trump supporter that you would expect. But he's hellbent on making New Jersey a red state, following his great success in helping President Donald Trump win Pennsylvania. He targeted low propensity voters in Pennsylvania and got them to register and vote. Groups like truckers, hunters and even the Amish were receptive to his message and turned out to vote Republican in the election last year, handing over the important and pivotal state of Pennsylvania to Trump. Presler is in his mid-30s and came...

Senator Chris Murphy (D-CT) said Sunday on NBC’s “Meet the Press” that America was stuck with a “madman” in the Oval Office because Democrats did not force then-President Joe Biden to step down. Murphy said, “The president should have gotten out of the race earlier, there’s no doubt the Democratic Party would have been better served by having the ability to have a primary, Kamala Harris probably would have done very well in the process but in retrospect, we lost so we can’t defend the way in which our politics played out.”

…House and Senate leaders are already in close consultation with the White House about key candidates who would benefit from Trump's endorsement, both to navigate primaries and to gin up general election support. His political operation is banking millions of dollars in explicitly Trump-aligned political groups that will play heavily in the midterms alongside Republicans' party committees and principal congressional super PACs. And then, top Republicans expect the rest of the party to lean into Trump's message to make the best possible pitch to his supporters to vote in 2026. “The push needs to be to push that energy. In...
