He's not exactly a buttoned-down Brooks Brothers suit-wearing — or even a beer-drinking MAGA hat-wearing kind of Trump supporter that you would expect. But he's hellbent on making New Jersey a red state, following his great success in helping President Donald Trump win Pennsylvania.
He targeted low propensity voters in Pennsylvania and got them to register and vote. Groups like truckers, hunters and even the Amish were receptive to his message and turned out to vote Republican in the election last year, handing over the important and pivotal state of Pennsylvania to Trump.
Presler is in his mid-30s and came out following the Pulse gay nightclub shooting in 2016 that killed 49 people. It was around that time that he was employed as a regional field director for the Republican Party of Virginia for around a year.
In 2016, Presler knocked on doors and registered voters in support of the Donald Trump presidential campaign. He lived in Virginia Beach for about a year, growing up as the son of a U.S. Navy captain.
In this past election, he turned his attention to Pennsylvania, realizing that it would be the most important state to deliver to the Republicans to ensure a Trump victory. His strategies, persistence and hard work paid off. He's hoping he can do the same in this year's upcoming gubernatorial race in New Jersey.
He's already hit the ground running with town halls and organizing meetings throughout the state. Get used to hearing the name Scott Presler whenever the governor's race is discussed this year. He's sure to have a prominent role in the outcome.

Good job but man he sho’ is ugly.
He’s been doing the Lord’s work.
I don’t think most conservatives or Republicans actually give a $hit if someone is gay.
They just don’t want it shoved in their face.
They aren’t going to applaud you for your gayness.
But then again, it’s no one’s business and what I do in my bedroom I don’t shove into other people’s face either. I don’t expect any sort of recognition or entitlement because of my sexual interests.
At some point, just treating people with respect and keeping ones sexual life intimate (which it should be) became homophobic and mean.
The other blue states that look like potential targets are Minnesota and New Mexico. Minnesota votes blue because of Minneapolis and the Iron Range which Trump made inroads into but not nearly enough. This is exactly the kind of heavy industry working class area that has flipped red almost everywhere else. Flipping the Iron Range could easily flip the state. The rest of the state is a sea of red - the exact opposite of Minneapolis.
The other prime target is New Mexico. Hispanics swung massively in Trump's direction. They were behind the huge margin in Texas, the comfortable margin in Arizona and flipping Nevada. The one state where Hispanics haven't really swung hard to the right is New Mexico. They population there is a little older than the average but if they could be swung like Hispanics elsewhere, that would probably be enough to flip the state red.

Minnesota and NM are 3 years away and house/senate seats are safely blue.
New Jersey is THIS YEAR. A good shot across the bow possibility even if we just come close.

He is even more effective now he has staff. Most of his early work in PA he did on his own. He is a true patriot. send him some money. It will be effectively spent.
Whatever he’s attributing to hair growth, give it to all other GOP pols.

He did it by registering 60,000 Amish, who never participated in voting (real Amish, not FR Amish). It was due to the government putting the screws on Amos Miller, an Amish person who was selling raw milk.
Again, 60,000 new voters - Trump won Pennsylvania by 20,000 votes. Think about it.
