With the death of Pope Francis, the attention of the world naturally turns toward the Church, and mostly toward Rome. But this focus on Catholicism should also prod an examination of the massive Catholic shift away from Democrats across America. Specifically, Catholics now overwhelmingly disapprove of the Democratic Party by a massive 25% margin, with only 31% approval and 56% disapproval. Admittedly, political parties are generally not popular with voters. But for context, the Republican Party is only -2% underwater among Catholics, with 44% approval and 46% disapproval. So, by comparison, the Democrats face an absolute crisis collapse among Catholics...

Pro-abortion extremists knew this was coming but frankly they don’t care. A man posted on Reddit asking for advice. He and his girlfriend became pregnant. “We talked for about a week deciding whether to keep the baby or not…” The “not” didn’t mean making an adoption plan for their child. They were in a long-distance relationship, attending separate universities. Their baby was seventeen weeks along, yet they chose the chemical abortion pill. This was an illegal abortion, far beyond the FDA guidelines. The young man’s girlfriend had to go through the gruesome process alone. In the end they were both...

On Monday Governor Sanders signed a good law to help teach public school students about unborn children. S.B. 450 by Sen. Breanne Davis (R — Russellville) and Rep. Kendra Moore (R — Lincoln) lets public school students see a recording of a high-definition ultrasound video as part of human fetal growth and development education courses. The law also makes it possible for students to learn important facts about how unborn children develop in the womb. Similar legislation has passed in North Dakota, Tennessee, Idaho, and Kansas. With the governor’s signature, S.B. 450 is now Act 915 of 2025. Act 915...

Freeport, New York — At eWorks in Freeport, New York, piles of dusty televisions, personal computers, printers and other old tech are the start of an electronic treasure hunt. "There is a value that would be there," eWorks CEO Mark Wilkins told CBS News. "Maybe it's a small value, but it's our job to really go through that process and evaluate each one of those components." Wilkins' team first tests to see if electronics still work. If not, they are disassembled, because anything with a chip can contain gold, and more than you might think. And it's not just the...

Tennessee Gov. Bill Lee has signed a pro-life bill protecting the conscience rights of medical professionals like doctors and nurse who don’t want to be forced to participate in abortions. The bill creates conscience protections for doctors who are morally opposed to certain medical practices, including abortion. While Tennessee is one of a couple dozen states with abortion bans that protect the lives of unborn children, abortions can still be done in very limited situations. Also, if the law is ever overturned, pro-life doctors and nurses want to be sure their conscience rights are protected to excuse themselves from abortions...

The steel scandal behind the collapse of Thailand’s State Audit Office (SAO) building has deepened after fresh test results revealed another failure by Chinese manufacturer Xin Ke Yuan Steel — marking the second time its materials have failed to meet Thai industrial standards. Yesterday, April 23, Industry Minister Akanat Promphan confirmed the findings, citing results from the Iron and Steel Institute of Thailand (ISIT). The substandard steel sample was taken from the collapsed SAO building on April 11 and subjected to rigorous testing. “The Chinese company’s SD40T 20-millimetre steel bar failed the mass-per-metre test, consistent with the previous results,” said...

Colorado Governor Jared Polis has signed a bill forcing Colorado taxpayers to fund abortions. Polis signed SB25-183, a recently approved state measure that would allocate a minimum of $1.5 million per year of taxpayer funds to cover elective abortions. With Colorado having abortions up to birth, that means taxpayers will be on the hook for paying for killing viable babies who could easily live outside the womb. And with the $1.5 million figure a minimum, Colorado residents may be forced to pay even more to kill thousands of babies. “One thing pro-life and pro-choice people agree on nationwide is that...

Chinese geologists just uncovered a gold deposit so massive, it’s turning heads in the mining world. Early reports hint at billions in untapped value buried deep beneath northeastern soil. Chinese geologists have announced the discovery of a massive gold deposit in the northeastern province of Liaoning, describing it as an “easy to mine” reserve. The site is estimated to contain about 1,000 tonnes of gold, a find that follows closely on the heels of another high-value discovery made just months ago in Hunan province. These back-to-back breakthroughs are credited to China’s advancements in mineral prospecting technology, which researchers say are...
