Joe and Jill Biden traveled to Rome to attend the funeral of Pope Francis at the Vatican on Saturday morning.
The funeral service for Pope Francis was held at St. Peter’s in Rome on Saturday as world leaders gathered.

At one point, Joe Biden needed assistance walking down the steps. He grabbed Nurse Jill and a priest for dear life as he made his way down the steps.
Biden’s death grip on the priest’s arm was something else.

In the 1970s before many women got medical degrees they hated it when patients called them "nurse". Dr.Jill agrees. She can make a house call to read aloud a peer reviewed educational horizons paper but a nurse can't.

It was kind of the priest to offer his arm to the unsteady elderly Biden. “Death grip” — oh, come on!
I would have expected a huge and modernized cathedral like this one to have a few operating passenger elevators.
If I was in charge of someone Joe’s age and mental condition, I would want to use a clean and quiet elevator.
Maybe they simply don’t have any, other than freight elevators.
