One of President Donald Trump's top priorities, as well as best issues, has been his crackdown on illegal immigration. As he has warned, criminals from countries in Central America and South America have been coming over illegally from prisons. While the left, including in the mainstream media, have mocked Trump for such narratives, these warnings have proven to be true. Over the weekend, an illegal immigrant from Venezuela, Gleiber Teran-Figueroa was arrested by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents in Buffalo. He had previously robbed a bank and escaped a prison in his home country after being convicted of theft,...

Who was behind this Biden autopen? Last week Missouri Attorney General Andrew Bailey asked the Justice Department to investigate whether White House staffers exploited Joe Biden’s cognitive decline and issued far-left orders at the end of his presidency without his knowledge. “I am demanding the DOJ investigate whether President Biden’s cognitive decline allowed unelected staff to push through radical policy without his knowing approval,” Bailey wrote. “If in fact Biden’s staffers were exploiting his mental decline, those orders are null and void,” he added. Andrew Bailey cited Joe Biden’s decision to commute the federal death sentences of nearly 40 prisoners...

(Washington, DC) – On his first day back in office, President Trump issued an executive order to eliminate “radical and wasteful” Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) “programs and preferences” from the federal government. The Biden administration embraced this “woke” agenda and embedded it across the executive branch. Ensuring these programs do not make a comeback will take a sustained effort. To help the administration in this task, and to help educate the public on the scope of the problem, the Functional Government Initiative (FGI) and the Center for Renewing America (CRA) have published DEI Spending in the Biden Administration. This report...

Alejandro Mayorkas, the nation’s top border official from 2021 to 2025, is denying blame for President Donald Trump’s smashing victory in 2024, which has scattered and impoverished the Democratic Party’s many interest groups. Instead, Mayorkas is blaming Texas GOP Gov. Greg Abbott and the upstart new media that he could not control as he gambled the party’s future by importing more than 10 million migrants for use by businesses and progressives.

The criminal bands that have arisen act for ideological reasons. They operate where they believe that they have the most latitude: on college campuses and in Democratic-controlled jurisdictions. And their beliefs are overwhelmingly left-wing: radically environmentalist (“Just Stop Oil”), anarcho-socialist (Antifa), and, most often, anti-Israel.***Road closures and similar disruptions can inflict real economic damage, from logistical breakdowns to personnel unable to get to work. They can impede key services, like ambulances. And they have the potential to beget more serious violence. Yet there seems to be little appetite for throwing the book at the activists, their organizers, or their funders....

Ukrainian forces are struggling to prevent what could be a significant military setback, as their hold on the area of Russian territory they seized last year is becoming increasingly precarious. A Russian offensive supported by North Korean troops in the past few days has made a serious advance in Russia's Kursk region northeast of Ukraine, breaking through Ukrainian positions and forcing them to withdraw to new defense lines, according to Ukrainian and Russian military bloggers. Russia is attempting to cut Ukraine's crucial supply road into Kursk, which is already under fire, meaning several thousand Ukrainian troops inside Russia are now...

The state of Washington filed a lawsuit against the Adams County Sheriff’s Office and Adams County on Monday for violating the Keep Washington Working Act, which established the state as a sanctuary for undocumented immigrants. Attorney General Nick Brown argues in the complaint that the Adams County Sheriff’s Office, since at least 2022, has been “consistently engaged in several practices that violate state law.” The lawsuit alleges that deputies have “unlawfully held people in custody based solely on their immigration status” and “have gone out of their way to enable federal immigration agents to interview or question people in custody,...
