As regular readers know, Hamass was scheduled to hand over to Israel four murdered hostages and among them are easily the two most heartbreaking: Kfir and Ariel Bibas. Sixteen months ago, these ‘Bibas Babies’ were nine and four years old, respectively, when they were abducted by Hamass during the October 7, 2023 pogram. Their bodies were allegedly handed to Israeli authorities overnight, although there is always a non-zero chance that Hamass is wrong or lying and it will turn out it is not their bodies. But while we don’t think Hamass is particularly trustworthy in general, when they essentially admit...

“The revelations that are coming for America possess the potential to reshape our entire notion of the relationship between citizen and state.” — El Gato Malo on Substack. You’ve got to wonder how the Party of Chaos thought they would get away with the Stacey Abrams grift-of-grifts. In case you forgot, Stacey Abrams ran for governor of Georgia twice, lost, and claimed she was “real governor” for years after. In the meantime, she parlayed her celebrity persona to a $3.17-million net worth by 2022, doing nothing but running for office. She claimed it derived from giving speeches, publishing romance novels,...

Ludwig von Mises had the perfect quote, describing the lefties of today: The champions of socialism call themselves progressives, but they recommend a system which is characterized by rigid observance of routine and by a resistance to every kind of improvement. They call themselves liberals, but they are intent upon abolishing liberty. They call themselves democrats, but they yearn for dictatorship...

Florida’s new Attorney General, James Uthmeier, just dropped a bombshell that’s got the corporate giants sweating. The state’s hauling Target Corporation into court with a class-action lawsuit that’s accusing them of flat-out deceiving shareholders. And why? Because they shoved a pile of radical LGBTQ merchandise—stuff Uthmeier says was designed to “sexualize children”—right into their stores, knowing full well it could torch their bottom line. Do they think we’re all just too dumb to notice? Here’s the kicker: this isn’t some wild conspiracy cooked up in a basement. Florida’s claiming Target broke federal securities laws—big time—by hiding the risks tied to...

A US official warned Hamas would face “total annihilation” if all hostages — living and dead — were not returned to Israel as the terror group failed to return the body of slain mother Shiri Bibas on Thursday. Adam Boehler, President Trump’s special envoy for hostages, issued the stark threat hours after the Israel Defense Forces positively identified the bodies of Bibas’ children, Ariel and Kfir, and hostage Oded Lifshitz — but also received an “anonymous, unidentified body.” “It’s horrific. It’s a clear violation and if I have one piece of advice for Hamas now, it’s ‘You need to release...

The anthem singer who performed the Canadian anthem prior to the 4 Nations Face-Off championship game Thursday night changed a lyric in "O Canada" as a rebuke to President Trump's repeated remarks about making the country the 51st state. Publicist Adam Gonshor confirmed to CBS News that Chantal Kreviazuk changed the lyric from "in all of us command" to "that only us command." During Canada's 3-2 overtime victory, Kreviazuk told The Associated Press she did it "because I believe in democracy, and a sovereign nation should not have to be defending itself against tyranny and fascism." In the post, Kreviazuk...

I haven't really had anything new to say about the "Palestinians" in a quarter-century, but I have to admit that, even by their own impressive standards, yesterday's Dead-Babypalooza took Pallie depravity to the next level. My friend (and a favourite Steyn Show guest) Yasmine Mohammed: Hard for me to wrap my head around the grotesque spectacle in Gaza today, let alone find the words. Something in me broke today. My unwavering commitment to compassion and empathy, my hopeless optimism- it's all shattered. I'm done. I shared my father's voice and his wish and his... — Yasmine Mohammed 🦋 ياسمين محمد...

Victor Davis Hanson examines the resurgence of Trump's influence and what it is a "counter-revolution" against: VICTOR DAVIS HANSON: They call it the "MAGA Revolution." It is not a revolution, it is a counter-revolution. There's a big difference. This is a restoration, let's use the word restoration. We don't know or appreciate what we've been through with eight years of the Obama administration and then the third more radical term of Obama using or employing the waxen effigy of Joe Biden. The revolution that we've experienced was cultural, economic, political, and social. It was very similar to the French Revolution...

The battle for America’s future is no longer being fought in distant lands–it is happening right here, within our borders, in our schools, our courts, our media, and our government. Nihad Awad, the radical leader of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), has openly declared war on American values. His recent speech at the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA) conference was not just another political rally–it was a roadmap for the systematic Islamization of America.

“‘Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted’” (Matthew 5:4). Two crucial determinants will tell you if you are mourning over sin as Jesus commands. First, you will have true sensitivity to and sorrow for your sins. Your primary concern will be how your sin detracts from God’s glory, not how its exposure might embarrass you or hurt your reputation. The mock piety of hypocrites demonstrates no sensitivity to sin, only to their personal prestige and pride (cf. Matt. 6:1–18). Likewise, the mock gratitude of those like the Pharisees who think they are better than others (cf. Luke...

Democrat Representative and resident weave-tosser Jasmine Crockett scoffed at the idea of giving $5,000 checks to Americans carved from the billions in government waste that President Donald Trump and Elon Musk's Department of Government Efficiency say they're eliminating, with Crockett suggesting that giving people their money back isn't the government's "business" and that no one should care about an extra $5,000 in chump change, anyway.
