When police searched the home of two Students for Justice in Palestine leaders, a pair of sisters at George Mason University, their allies painted a sympathetic picture. The students were targeted, according to the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), for engaging in "anti-genocide events on campus." The Intercept reported that police found "antique firearms" registered to the students' brother and brought gun-related charges as a result of his family's "pro-Palestine activism." Excluded from those descriptions was the crime the sisters are suspected of committing. A group of student radicals defaced George Mason’s student center in August, spray painting messages that...

Jordan Neely was, in fact, like George Floyd: both were violent criminals with a long record of antisocial behavioral problems who suffered from drug problems, and eventually died under troubling circumstances. But Derek Chauvin’s jury failed in its duty to separate the facts from ideological myths, and failed to stand up to political pressure. Chauvin was convicted by a jury frightened into complicity, and effectively thrown to the mob. By contrast, in New York today, another conception of justice prevailed. Despite the activists ringing the courtroom, a hostile media chumming the waters, and a highly irregular legal procedure which saw...

Congressman Thomas Massie (R-KY) has introduced the National Constitutional Carry Act (H.R. 9534) which seeks to ensure that the right of Americans to carry firearms in public spaces is protected throughout the country. Rather than pushing for a federal law creating reciprocity between states that require a permit to carry a firearm, Massie’s bill would prohibit states from requiring their citizens to get a permit in the first place. I introduced the National Constitutional Carry Act to prohibit states from requiring a permit to carry a firearm. No one should have to beg the government to exercise a constitutionally protected...

CHICAGO — Mayor Brandon Johnson declined to weigh in Monday on the fact that his top adviser voted last month in Texas, saying any questions about whether it was improper for him to cast his ballot in Houston are the responsibility of election officials there. During his first remarks to reporters since the Chicago Tribune reported last week that Jason Lee voted in the November 2024 presidential election in person on Election Day in Houston, Johnson said “this is a matter that is being looked to” but did not elaborate on what he meant. Asked who is investigating Lee’s voting...

“He humbled Himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross” (Philippians 2:8). Instead of asserting His divine rights, Christ submitted Himself to the cross. Even though the people did not recognize the deity of Christ and treated Him as a criminal, He did not fight back. Instead, He “humbled Himself.” Consider His trial. He said not a word to defend Himself throughout unbelievable humiliation. They mocked Him, punched Him, pulled out His beard—yet He did not say a word. He was silent and accepted man’s abuse through each phase of His phony trial. He...

Will Western governments now start to admit that there is such a thing as the global jihad, and that it is advancing? No, they’re much more likely to continue in their delusions and fantasies until the jihadis get around to confronting them directly.

Liliana Goodson pleaded guilty to charges of illegally importing an unauthorised firearm and illegally importing ammunition. On Monday, the 30-year-old was sentenced in Sydney’s Downing Centre local court to the 12-month jail term, of which four months will be served in full-time custody. Goodson was taken into custody immediately after the hearing and forced to remove her extensive jewellery before being handcuffed and led from the court. She was...

One doesn’t cause the other, but there seems to be an association for some people. Image credit: logika600 / Shutterstock.com Anew study has pointed to a strange correlation with a person’s drinking habits: the ratio of their fourth digit (sometimes called the ring finger) to the second digit. Specifically, scientists found a relationship between having a ring finger that is longer than the second digit and high alcohol consumption. The ratio of our finger lengths is something that’s set before birth, in part influenced by the hormones we are exposed to in the womb. People exposed to more estrogen tend...

As President Trump is warmly received on the world stage, it's not hard to think that Joe Biden back home is jealously stewing and thinking up ways he can throw a few number-twos into Trump's punch bowl ahead of his taking office. That's obvious enough in his response to President Trump's statement that the U.S. should stay out of Syria's civil war, particularly since the Russians and Iranians are on the run and will no longer be players. Biden instead decided to escalate U.S. involvement upon hearing that, with airstrikes and approximately 900 U.S. troops on the ground. Biden normally...

Credit: Photo: PA Department of Corrections Luigi Mangione, 26, has been charged with first-degree murder in the fatal shooting of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson late Monday night. Mangione was arraigned and ordered to be held without bail during a brief court hearing in Pennsylvania. When asked if he required a public defender, he responded by asking if he could “answer that at a future date.” The charges against Mangione include forgery, carrying a gun without a license, false...

The Honorable Christopher Wray Director Federal Bureau of Investigation Director Wray: Seven years ago, I presided over your confirmation hearing before the Senate Judiciary Committee, after President Trump nominated you to become only the eighth FBI Director in the Bureau’s 116-year history. The Senate confirmed you to your current position in hopes you’d bring needed change to the FBI after the politicization and scandal presided over by your predecessor, Director James Comey. While I sincerely congratulated you on your nomination, I reminded you that an FBI Director’s ten-year term is a ceiling, not a floor, and laid down my expectations...

What is destructive to the Republic is the deliberate fabrication and dissemination of calumnious narratives. By the time they’re exposed irreparable reputational damage has been done and trust in our institutions is eroded. I've written before about the Left's habit of resorting to lies, projection, and one or more of the Logical Fallacies. They do this because if they stated their intentions openly, more often than not rational people would laugh them out of office. Telling folks who never went to college or who paid off their loans that they would soon be on the hook for someone else's $100K...

China is Building Coal-Fired Power Plants at an Alarming Rate of two new coal plants every week! America continues to subsidize the development of occasionally generated electricity from weather dependent wind turbines and solar panels, to replace coal power plants, with the expectation that America, with about 4% of the world’s population, can drastically impact the world’s emissions occurring from the other 96% people on this planet. Coal is the world’s most abundant and reliable energy source. The United States has the world’s largest coal reserves. Of the 15 major coal producing States, Montana has the largest coal reserve with...

Florida, which has grown increasingly red and seen plenty of red waves over recent years, already enjoys trifecta control in the state government. Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis will have one more fellow Republican, though, with state Rep. Susan Valdes switching her party affiliation from Democrat to Republican. Her district includes West Tampa, with such a party change being effective immediately. Early on in her statement, Valdes explained that it was "partly out of habit" that she was a Democrat. "I have done so as a Democrat partly out of habit -- I come from a family of Democrats -- and...

A new report by the House Judiciary Committee exposed how more than 14,000 federal employees accesses the private financial data for Americans over 3,000,000 times. The Committee and Select Subcommittee launched this investigation into government-led financial surveillance after a whistleblower disclosed that following the events of January 6, 2021, Bank of America (BoA), voluntarily and without legal process, provided the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) with a list of names of all individuals who used a BoA credit or debit card in the Washington, D.C. region around that time.
