This week, Vice-President Kamala Harris tried desperately to get the attention of Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis regarding Hurricane Milton, calling him "utterly irresponsible and selfish" for not taking her call. "All I was trying to do was help coordinate his relief efforts." DeSantis said "we are already leveraging all available resources. I've been in contact with President Biden to coordinate state and federal efforts to mitigate damage and to rescue people stranded by the storm. I'm not sure how Vice-President Harris figures into this. Isn't she busy running for president right now?" Biden confirmed that "I have been communicating with...

Fourth Street Foods in Charleroi makes prepared meals that are sold in grocery stores across the country. It employs 700 immigrants from 41 countries, many of them Haitians. VIDEOForget about analyzing polls or reading in-depth political articles about campaign 2024. The easiest way to get a sense of the sense of where the 2024 election race is going is to simply to watch Morning Mika. And, as you can see in the video clip of a deranged Mika delivering an unhinged rant about Orange Man Bad, things are not going well for Kamala Harris. In fact, things seem to be going so bad for Kamala that Mika seems almost ready to be strapped down to a gurney and fed through a tube for her own safety.

"Saturday Night Live" (SNL) mocked Vice President Kamala Harris again on Saturday during a "Family Feud" skit that took aim at the Democratic presidential candidate's interview responses and her stories about her background and growing up in a middle class family. Kenan Thompson, who played "Family Feud" host Steve Harvey in the skit, asked Maya Rudolph, who has appeared as Harris over the last few weeks, why she wasn't winning in a landslide. Rudolph responded, "That’s a question I scream into my pillow every morning." Thompson's first "Family Feud" question asked his contestants to name something that people would keep...

Many states have preemption laws. What few states have are preemption laws with teeth. Because of that, some cities keep trying to push things by enacting restrictions, knowing full well that it'll take time before the courts toss out the regulations, and beyond that, there are no consequences to speak of. In Florida, though, their preemption law actually has some teeth. In fact, officials in Okeechobee who tried to ban guns in what they claim was a mistake may well find out just how much bite they have. The five-member Okeechobee, Florida city council and Police Chief Donald Hagan may...

Had to reload my PC and when I went to cywoody's page to reload the posting enhancer the add-on link is dead. He disappeared from FR years ago but the page remained. Now, his page is there but the link to the add-on is dead. I loved that add-on and used it for years. I am not smart enough to create it so I'm hoping one of our coders here would take on the job. I know a lot of Freepers use it, too.

The family of Amber Thurman is planning on suing a Georgia hospital for malpractice following her death-by-abortion-pills. In the summer of 2022, Thurman found herself pregnant with twins. She decided to end their lives using abortion pills to effectively drown her babies like a couple of kittens in a sack sinking into the river. After taking the abortifacient drugs, Thurman suffered complications when her body failed to expel all the fetal tissue (baby body parts) from her, leading to a serious infection and, ultimately, organ failure. Needing a dilation and curettage to clear her uterus, doctors delayed her surgery in...

As Vice President Kamala Harris vows to crack down on illegal immigration at the nation’s southern border, she has played up her experience as California’s attorney general pursuing criminal groups that traffic drugs, guns and people across the United States and Mexico.“I was the top law enforcement officer of the biggest state of the country, California — that is also a border state,” she said on Thursday at a town hall in Nevada. “I took on transnational criminal organizations.”Ms. Harris’s surrogates and allies say her push on transnational crime sheds light on how she might address challenges at the border....

The World Series has produced many moments of incredible drama, but only in 1960 has the Fall Classic ended with a Game 7 home run. That World Series was among the wildest in baseball history as the New York Yankees outscored the Pittsburgh Pirates, 55-27, and second baseman Bobby Richardson won the Most Valuable Player award. It came in a losing cause, though, as Pittsburgh second baseman Bill Mazeroski authored an incredible conclusion to an unforgettable series

India’s High Court recently ruled that a deceased man’s parents may use his preserved sperm for reproductive purposes, according to the BBC. The deceased man’s mother, Harbir Kaur, told the BBC she and her husband were “delighted” and that they had plans for their son’s sister to be a surrogate mother for his child — their grandchild. “He loved his sisters and was much loved by his friends. He is the screensaver on my phone. I start my day by looking at his face every morning,” said Mrs. Kaur, adding, “We will keep it in the family.” Kaur’s son, Preet...

In 2016, Donald J. Trump became the Republican nominee and ultimately won the presidency after calling many Mexican immigrants rapists and falsely claiming that Barack Obama was not born in the United States.Eight years later, the polls suggest that he might well return to the White House by faring better among Black and Hispanic voters combined than any Republican presidential nominee since the enactment of the Civil Rights Act in 1964.How is this possible? It’s a question I get often, and the latest New York Times/Siena College polls of Black and Hispanic voters nationwide represent our best effort at answering...

With just a month remaining until the election, polls in all seven battleground states show the race within the margin of error, leaving the door open for either candidate to potentially sweep all key swing states. While Harris maintains a slim national lead of 2 to 3 points and holds an edge in four swing states, recent polling has shifted more favorably for Trump. An ActiVote poll now puts Trump 1 point ahead nationally, and a Fabrizio/McLaughlin poll shows him leading in every swing state. Pollster Nate Silver's tracker shows that Trump has made gains in every swing state other...

Governor Andy Beshear (D-KY) said Sunday on ABC’s “This Week” that there was no lie too big for former President Donald Trump or his running mate, Sen. JD Vance (R-OH). Partial transcript as follows: MARTHA RADDATZ: A lot of hard work ahead. I’d like to hear a quick reaction to what you heard J.D. Vance talk about. BESHEAR: It’s just amazing. Apparently, there is no lie too big for Donald Trump and J.D. Vance. I mean, when you ask him about the last election, all you’re asking him to do is admit reality, and we deserve to have a vice...

Most of you likely remember the horrific story of Jocelyn Nungaray, the 12-year-old Houston girl who was lured away by two illegal migrants, gang raped, and murdered, with her body being unceremoniously dumped into a bayou. The two migrants suspected of the horrendous crime, Franklin Jose Peña Ramos, 26, and Johan Jose Rangel Martinez, 21, were later taken into custody. These terrible stories are all too common, no matter what Kamala Harris and the Democrats try to tell you, but this case has taken an unexpected turn which makes it all the more enraging, assuming that's even possible. Ongoing investigations...

Since 2022, global demand in the arms market has expanded rapidly as many countries rush to restock on systems and munitions as well as adopt new technologies that were increasingly proving their worth in Ukraine. In that environment, the Republic of Korea has become an increasingly prolific arms exporter, with the Korean defence industry working to sustain not just the ROK Armed Forces, but also inking major contracts with buyers from the Asia Pacific to Europe. So following an invitation from the organisers of Korea's largest Defence Exhibition, the Korea Army International Defence Industry Exhibition (KADEX), I thought it was...

Now that President Joe Biden’s political career is officially over, Hunter Biden must find a new way to profit himself, given that his family can no longer peddle money from shady foreign businesses and his so-called “art” deals. According to experts in the art industry, Hunter Biden’s art career is a thing of the past. Now that the president’s time in the District of Corruption is over, so is his son’s shady art business. “His father is no longer relevant in the maelstrom, which is politics,” Charlie Horne, president of Gurr Johns, an art valuation and advisory firm, told the...

For David Tasker, an 18-year-old construction worker in Pennsylvania, his top financial priorities are having enough money for gas, dining out and spending on his girlfriend while living at home with his parents. But he worries about the rising prices he’s seen during his teen years as he’s emerged into an economy experiencing decades-high inflation. For his first election, he said he will be voting for former President Donald Trump with those higher costs and concerns about the wider economy in mind. “Trump can run America like a business and Kamala would run it as a classroom,” Tasker said. “Trump...

This story has been updated since publication. In a major reversal from her guidance just days ago, Secretary of State Jane Nelson now says non-citizen driver’s licenses may not be used as a form of voter identification. The Texas Department of Public Safety issues driver’s licenses and personal identification cards to lawfully present noncitizens, which are clearly marked “Temporary Visitor” or “Limited-Term” and expire after one year or when the individual’s period of lawful presence ends.An advisory from the Secretary of State issued Tuesday afternoon stated that while citizens should not use these types of IDs to vote, poll workers should nonetheless...

by Torrance Stephens, PhDOver the past several years, sex has become more politicized than ever before. This effort has been mainly due to rhetoric from the progressive left. From pronouns to biological men competing against women in sports to a person who can say they are a man or a woman and promote that we should believe them. There is also the liberal attack on men in general, on so-called toxic masculinity, misogyny, and the patriarchy. Now the Democrat party is upset they are losing the vote of men, black men in particular. The party that nominated a Supreme Court...
