A drone attack caused damage to a merchant vessel 65 nautical miles west of Yemen's Hodeidah, the United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) and British security firm Ambrey said on Sunday. "All crew members are reported safe, and the vessel is proceeding to its next port of call," UKMTO said in an advisory note. In a separate note, Ambrey identified the vessel as a "Liberia-flagged fully cellular container ship", without providing its name. It said no injuries were reported.

(video at link) Biologist Bret Weinstein detailed his recent trip to the Darien Pass on Thursday with Daily Caller co-founder Tucker Carlson, warning that he had allegedly witnessed a mass Chinese camp. Weinstein appeared on “The Tucker Carlson Encounter” to discuss his recent visit to the Darien Pass, known as one of the most treacherous ways migrants from South America travel to get to the United States. Weinstein stated that he had gone down to the location after writer Michael Yon invited him to witness the sites migrants had to go through to survive the journey. The biologist described to...

It is likely that Jake Tapper will have some debate questions which reflect poorly on Trump. Here is one I'm sure he will ask: "Mr. Biden, when your son Beau died from the wounds he received fighting for our country in Iraq, how did your feelings compare with Mr. Trumps feelings as he was having sex with a porn star while his third wife was giving birth to their son Baron?" "Mr. Trump, how can you argue that illegal aliens with prior criminal convictions who go on to rape and kill Americans should be deported, when you have been convicted...

MSNBC host Symone Sanders scolded her guests for using the ‘illegal’ immigrants on her show this week. While discussing the recent murder of Americans at the hands of those who have come into the U.S. illegally, Sanders seemed to be more concerned for the perpetrators, not the victims.

Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) and state legislators struck a deal this weekend to close a $47 billion budget deficit — and agreed to spend $12 million to implement proposals to provide reparations for slavery. The Sacramento Bee reported: The budget agreement California Gov. Gavin Newsom and Democratic leaders announced Saturday sets aside $12 million to help the state implement a series of reparations-related bills lawmakers hope will pass this year.

So many lines have been crossed by anti-Israel protesters in the U.S. since October 7, it’s hard to see that any lines are left. The increasingly dominant glorification and worship of Islamist movements and leaders, combined with ability to act with impunity, is a bad omen for this summer. Anti-Israel protesters have been unhinged and dangerous forever, but particularly since October 7. We have documented here dozens of times the intimidation tactics, including particularly on campuses. The lasting impact of the campus protests and encampments is that with only a small number of exceptions, there were no consequences to violating...

A tourist has been dragged from a police station and killed by a mob in north-west Pakistan after being accused of blasphemy. The police had been attempting to protect the man from the large group in the town of Madyan, a town in Swat district. The mob had gathered after the man was accused of desecrating the Quran, Islam's holy book, on Thursday. Lynchings are not uncommon after an accusation of blasphemy, which is punishable by death in Pakistan.

By sanctioning the Israeli group that blocked aid into Gaza, which documents show Hamas exploits, the Biden administration injures the very concept of liberty and free speech America purports to champion globally. The planned sanctions by the United States against the Israeli group Tzav 9 (Order 9) should spark outrage from all who cherish democracy in Israel, regardless of political affiliation. In an egregious overreach, the Biden administration is infringing on the bedrock principles of free speech and the right to protest, cracking down on a legitimate protest movement committed to preventing aid from enabling the enemy (the Hamas terrorist...

As he led a crowd of picnicking families in the “YMCA” dance, Trent Staggs gleefully waved a “Utah for Trump” flag at a recent campaign rally — one more not-so-subtle reminder to voters that he is backed by the former president in the race to replace retiring U.S. Sen. Mitt Romney. That endorsement propelled Staggs, who was little known outside the Salt Lake City suburb he leads, to victory at the state's Republican convention in April, where delegates lean far-right. But his credentials with Donald Trump's “Make America Great Again” movement may not be enough to win Tuesday's primary, when...

Bernie Sanders almost won the 2016 Democrat nomination against Hillary Clinton. We might have dodged a bullet. Literally. In any event, the guy who honeymooned in the Soviet Union, is an avowed socialist (aka commie), and isn’t a “Democrat” appeared on the "Chris Hayes Show" to lament that “democracy will end” if Trump is elected. I truly loath Chris Hayes. His cadence is grating like fingers across a chalkboard, and he physically leans into guests (who always agree with him) like a swooning schoolgirl with a crush. I also find him contemptable.

With the current Palestinian opinion polls, any idea of a realistic "day after" plan must address the radical and Islamist elements of Palestinian society. It has been eight and a half months into the war between Israel and Hamas, and we have seen 105 hostages released, seven hostages rescued and most of the Hamas battalions destroyed by IDF forces. There is much debate on whether or not the military campaign against the Gaza-run terror group has been "successful", yet the question nobody seems to have an answer to is what happens the day after. How do we truly eradicate Hamas...

The Congressional Budget Office reports the 2024 budget deficit will near $2 trillion.. In 2024, the federal budget deficit is estimated to reach nearly $2 trillion, according to new projections released by the Congressional Budget Office (CBO) this week. In February, the agency predicted that the deficit would only be $1.58 trillion. However, spending increases have caused the projected deficit to increase by $400 billion, a staggering 27 percent hike. According to the CBO, 80 percent of the spike in the deficit can be blamed on four sources of government spending. The largest source, responsible for $145 billion of the...

....According to John D. Bessler’s Legacy of Violence: Lynch Mobs and Executions in Minnesota, the Minneapolis Tribune took a vehement editorial line against this “barbarous and disgraceful act,” and urged that jails fit themselves out with “a Gatling gun, intended for business” as proof against Judge Lynch. However, the St. Paul Daily Globe demurred, editorializing that “Society owes it to itself to get rid of such tough characters as Kelliher” — and if attaining that end via lynch law was in principle less than ideal, “it was past all human endurance to have a defiant desperado walk the streets of...

One of the ways to tell apart moderates and extremists is checking the brakes. The other is the constant infighting. And the two are connected. Extremists have no brakes so their movement is always going to new extremes and tomorrow’s radicals are cannibalizing yesterday’s radicals. In my book,‘Domestic Enemies: The Founding Fathers’ Fight Against The Left’, I quoted a very telling line about the French Revolution. “As the revolution becomes radical, the Right disappears, and the Left of one assembly becomes the Right of the succeeding assembly,” Mignet explained, describing how each new political incarnation became more radical than the...

A complete victory (by Israel) in the Gaza Strip could shake Hezbollah Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah's confidence and demonstrate the potential consequences of conflict with Israel. In the complex web of dilemmas facing Israeli decision-makers, the war to decisively defeat the Hamas terror organization must remain a cornerstone of policy and action. After Oct. 7, there is no room for maneuver – any other outcome will have far-reaching consequences. A determined effort to achieve all our objectives in the Gaza Strip will also shake Hezbollah Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah's confidence in the effectiveness of his attrition strategy against Israel and provide him...

Last month, NPR published an article entitled “There are now 25 states with bans on health care for minors.” NPR being what it is, “health care for minors” is a euphemism for the performance of hormonal and surgical procedures that obscure the biological sex of children. In June 2023, Texas passed a law banning puberty-blockers and genital-mutilating surgeries for minors. The Texas law prohibits any sort of procedures like double mastectomies, puberty blockers, sex change surgeries and cross-sex hormones from being performed on underage girls and boys. The law will also prevent state funds being used on such procedures. ......

An online fundraiser set up by Faith Rittenhouse, the sister of Kenosha shooter Kyle Rittenhouse, has seen a surge in donations over the past 24 hours after being widely reported in the media. Faith said she is seeking $3,000 to prevent her and her mother Wendy from getting evicted, which she linked to her "brother's unwillingness to provide or contribute to our family." Kyle Rittenhouse shot two men dead, and seriously injured another, after rioting broke out following a Black Lives Matter demonstration in Kenosha, Wisconsin, on August 25, 2020, when he was aged just 17. He was subsequently found...
