Bernie Sanders almost won the 2016 Democrat nomination against Hillary Clinton. We might have dodged a bullet. Literally. In any event, the guy who honeymooned in the Soviet Union, is an avowed socialist (aka commie), and isn’t a “Democrat” appeared on the "Chris Hayes Show" to lament that “democracy will end” if Trump is elected.
I truly loath Chris Hayes. His cadence is grating like fingers across a chalkboard, and he physically leans into guests (who always agree with him) like a swooning schoolgirl with a crush. I also find him contemptable.

That shows what happens to a country when they don’t teach history to their children. In this case they forget how many millions of people died in Russia when the Communists took power.

He is implying if your not a democrat, your not for democracy.
He is also implying that we live in a democracy.
The first two assumptions are wrong. We don’t live in a democracy, but a representative republic. Second, and most important, the Democratic Party has absolutely nothing to do with democracy. Supporting democracy and supporting democrats are utterly and completely different.
The third assumption, that when billionaires support you it’s about greed. Frankly, this seems flawed as well. The billionaires care more about power and having an in to the executive. They are turning to Trump because they, very rich and connected, expect Biden to lose the election. It’s about ROS (return on investment) and they expect none from Biden.
But Zuckerberg can provide $400 million for democrats and that is great for “democracy.!”
Sheesh....this guy was never any better than the dog catcher position he once held. He’s a real fruit cake. In his very early years he took his new wife out to live in the woods. In a cabin. With a dirt floor. Didn’t stay married long.
He’s just mad because his threats to ‘run again’ aren’t pulling in as much “don’t do it, Bernie” money as it did before. He wants that third vacation house or yacht or somesuch..
It’s the same with fact checking, the whole industry is based on destroying Conservative media - why doesn’t Sanders mention that?
