WINDER, Ga. (AP) — The father of the teenager accused of opening fire at a Georgia high school, killing four people and wounding nine, has been arrested on various charges including second-degree murder, authorities said Thursday.
Colin Gray, 54, the father of Colt Gray, was charged with four counts of involuntary manslaughter, two counts of second-degree murder and eight counts of cruelty to children, the Georgia Bureau of Investigation said in a social media post. No other details were immediately provided, but a news conference was planned for later in the day.

He gave the kid the gun as a Christmas gift in 2023 according to CNN and NY Post.

This kid posted threats to shoot up schools last year, which got the FBI and police involved. Cops told Dad to keep guns securely away from kid, and Dad promised he would. Then, months later, Dad goes and buys kid his every own gun for Christmas.

Lots of boys have long hair, and have for about the last 60 or more years of contemporary history.
Sometimes kids have mental issues that have nothing to do with ‘gender confusion’.

Dad should be on the hook if he was warned, ignored the warning and even went so far as buy his kid the murder weapon. It’s not that hard to lock up firearms or keep them out of even a clever teenager’s reach.
they couldnt take th kid in...we do have laws about that..they notified the local lea and parents.
