Question: How do you take the greatest scorer in college history, men or women, and destroy her confidence and career in seven games or less? And how do you also manage to bring down an entire professional sports league at the same time? Answer: Ask Christie Sides. Indiana Fever coach Christie Sides has never had a winning record and finished dead last year in the WNBA. Now, her goal is to not only bring down Caitlin Clark and her team – that’s not enough. Christie Sides is going to single-handedly destroy the WNBA’s one chance to become a profitable sports...

The despot is believed to be looking to pin his own failures to defeat Ukraine on a number of men as he looks to unleash his brutal Federal Security Service (FSB) agents to hunt them down. Five military officers have already been detained in recent weeks under Putin's watch. But sources close to the Kremlin and the Defense Ministry have sensationally...

An Ohio mother was sentenced on Friday to at least nine years in prison for manslaughter after feeding her diabetic four-year-old daughter a diet consisting mainly of Mountain Dew. “Tamara Banks pled guilty to manslaughter in March for the death of her daughter, Karmity Hoeb, who died in 2022 of a diabetes-related brain injury,” The New York Post reported. “Banks, 41, often gave the girl bottles of baby formula mixed with the neon-green sugary soda, according to prosecutors, long after she should have been weaned off bottles.” Karmity died at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital due to diabetic ketoacidosis, the Cincinnati Inquirer...

During the 2016 cycle, Hillary Clinton boasted about how Republicans were probably the enemy she was most proud of making. But now she’s sounding almost envious. While riffing about Democratic failures to defend Roe v. Wade, Clinton, 76, griped that her party sometimes lacks the relentless resolve the right has. “One thing I give the right credit for is they never give up,” she told the New York Times in a recent interview. “They are relentless. You know, they take a loss, they get back up, they regroup, they raise more money.”

The US has been outclassed by its rivals, such as Russia, in its capacity to remotely take out enemy weapons using jamming technology, according to former US military officials. Mike Nagata, a retired US Army lieutenant general who led special operations in the Middle East, said that the US is "still falling behind" in its electronic warfare capabilities, reported Defense One. Electronic warfare units, which use electronic signals to remotely scramble the GPS coordinates used to guide weapons, have played a key role in Russia's war in Ukraine. "The gap between where the United States should be and where we...

I saw former President Obama criticizing former President Trump for not passing “transformative” changes. That is, Trump didn’t sign any Obama-like transformative changes (like Obamacare). Truimp did try to slow down the damage done by Obama and his transformative agenda (e.g., open borders, wealth redistritution, green energy) that Biden has attempted to continue. As we approach the party conventions and Presidential election of 2024, we saw the Economic Surprise Index (ESI) in May decline to -0.126. Coupled with Biden’s negative buying conditions for housing (higher mortgage rates and soaring house prices), Obama’s Jacobian transformative economic fantasty is on thin ice....

The chattering classes in the UK put on their outrage cap on Sunday while trotting out accusations of “racism” against Brexit leader Nigel Farage for warning that an increasing number of Muslims in the country “loathe” British values. Appearing on Sky News’s Sunday Morning With Trevor Phillips, Mr Farage stated: “We have a growing number of young people in this country who do not subscribe to British values, in fact, loathe much of what we stand for. I think we see them on the streets of London every Saturday.”

In 5,259 BC, our planet was bombarded with a shower of highly energetic particles resulting from a rare cosmic event of exceptional magnitude. Initially revealed through the discovery of carbon isotopes measured in ancient tree ring data, the event produced a roughly two percent increase in atmospheric Carbon-14 (14C), making it one of the strongest events of its kind known to scientists...The breakthrough relied on the combination of annual growth ring measurements with the measurable spike in cosmogenic radiocarbon that occurred during the 5259 BC event. This allowed them to establish a chronological reference point for producing accurate dates for...

ROME — Pope Francis received a group of some 30 “Palestinian and Ukrainian children” in the Vatican this weekend, the Vatican reported. The children came “predominantly from war zones,” mostly Palestine and Ukraine, and highlighted a new initiative of Pope Francis to engage children in the quest for peace, Vatican News said. Some of the children visiting the pope were missing limbs but were “happy for once to be in a place where they can marvel at a beautiful building rather than live in fear of bombs,” the Vatican related.

New Hampshire Governor Chris Sununu (R) minced no words in his evaluation of his counterpart in California on Thursday. At an event held by the Ronald Reagan Institute on Thursday, Sununu concluded that Governor Gavin Newsom (D) is “just a prick” and asserted that none of his peers can stand him. “And I think look almost all the governors get along. I mean, in my eight years, I can honestly tell you there’s really only been two — maybe a third — but two real governors that really nobody liked, nobody cared for at all,” continued Sununu before being asked...

The witchcraft trouble [in Bermuda in 1651-55] began in May 1651, when Goodwife Jeane Gardiner, the wife of Ralph Gardiner of Hamilton Tribe, was accused of bewitching a mulatto woman named Tomasin. Jeane Gardiner was heard to say “that she would crampe Tomasin” and reportedly “used many other threatenninge words tending to the hurt and injurie of the said mullatto woman.” Gardiner’s victim was then “very much tormented, and struck blind and dumb for the space of twoe houres or thereabouts.” Jeane Gardiner may have been known in her neighborhood as the wife of Ralph Gardiner, a laborer who had...

This Memorial Day Weekend, it seems like every news outlet from YouTube to the New York Times is talking about President Trump’s rally in the Bronx. No Republican has won there in over 100 years. It’s deep deep blue territory. Still, he’s not looking to be President of the red hat people. He was President of the United States before, and despite being undermined by his opponents to the maximum levels, he still worked to Make America Great Again for all Americans. By every statistic, he did more than President Biden. Oh, there’s no shortage of people who will debate...

Governor Tim Walz (D-MN) said Sunday on CNN’s “State of the Union” that on abortion access, Minnesota is an “island of decency” surrounded by states enacting versions of “The Handmaid’s Tale.” Anchor Dana Bash said, “On the issue of abortion, Mrs. Clinton said Democrats neglected abortion rights from the ballot box to Congress, to the Supreme Court. Our side was complacent and kind of taking it for granted and thinking it would never go away. Do you agree with that?” Walz said, “I don’t think she’s totally wrong. Look, I ran in a conservative district, second Democrat since 1892 when...
