SEASIDE, Calif. — Seaside police said a fight between students on Wednesday resulted in minor injuries to staff and students. On Thursday, Seaside police Chief Nick Borges told KSBW 8 that there were nearly 100 students involved in the fight, and they will be looking to hold those who "crossed the violence line" accountable. A 29-year-old man was behind bars Friday after his arrest in San Diego in connection with a pair of assaults on women in Los Angeles. Anthony Jones was arrested late Thursday, after allegedly fleeing to San Diego following the attacks that occurred last Saturday, police said. In a statement, police said investigators are “not ruling out the likelihood that the women may have been sexually assaulted.” No other details were immediately released. Two brothers from Nigeria pleaded guilty Wednesday in connection with an international sextortion ring, in which they threatened to release a nude photo of a 17-year-old Michigan boy, driving him to commit suicide inside his home.
