An Open Letter to the Davos CrowdDear self-styled “global elites:”No doubt, should this missive ever come to your attention, you will simply dismiss me as a “conspiracy theorist.” But no theorizing is necessary when the conspirators keep admitting to it, repeatedly speaking the quiet part out loud.Your creepy Bond-villain in chief, Klaus Schwab, Chairman of the World Economic Forum, has openly called for “permanent interaction between governments and regulatory agencies on the one hand, and business on the other”—in other words, for a kind of global fascism 2.0. Meanwhile, Schwab’s oily henchman, Yuval Harari, asserts that “human rights exist only...

A U.S. drone strike hit a car in the Iraqi capital Wednesday night, killing three members of the powerful Kataib Hezbollah militia, including a high-ranking commander, officials said. The strike came on a main thoroughfare in the Mashtal neighborhood in eastern Baghdad. A crowd gathered as emergency response teams picked through the wreckage. A U.S. official familiar with the matter said that a senior Kataib Hezbollah commander was targeted in a U.S. strike on Wednesday in Iraq. The official was not authorized to comment publicly and requested anonymity. Two officials with Iran-backed militias in Iraq said that one of the...

Federal budget analysts said Wednesday that debt held by the U.S. public is on track to hit a record high in the coming years because the federal budget deficits are projected to climb over the next decade. The Congressional Budget Office (CBO) projected the debt held by the public will rise significantly over the next decade, climbing from 99 percent of GDP in 2024 to 116 percent in 2034. The jump would mark a high-water mark, the CBO said, while noting that, absent policy changes, the debt is likely to continue the upward trajectory after 2034. Federal outlays are also...

Never in my adulthood have I witnessed a more dire prognosis for a presidential election. I’m watching with abject horror as former president and sentient pumpkin-colored boat shoe Donald Trump clears the path to coast back into the White House — and it doesn’t feel like there’s a thing we can do about it. Mirroring his unlikely victory in 2016, Trump is toppling his field of competitors one by one. Tim Scott bounced in November and channeled his inner Stephen from “Django Unchained” to endorse him a couple weeks ago and Vivek Ramaswamy got out of his way in the...

Explanation: Are these two galaxies really attracted to each other? Yes, gravitationally, and the result appears as an enormous iconic heart -- at least for now. Pictured is the pair of galaxies cataloged as NGC 4038 and NGC 4039,known as the Antennae Galaxies. Because they are only 60 million light years away, close by intergalactic standards, the pair is one of the best studied interacting galaxies on the night sky. Their strong attraction began about a billion years ago when they passed unusually close to each other. As the two galaxies interact, their stars rarely collide, but new stars are...

[cut] Cruz has also noted that McConnell lost the Senate leadership because of his own funding shenanigans in the last election and seems content to be the House Minority Leader, ensconced in enough power to be happy and untouchable on corruption matters, which is a possibility for someone in power as long as he has been. Top it off with McConnell's increasing numbers of "senior moments" to match Joe Biden's, and it's pretty clear this guy should have been put out to pasture a long time ago. That it took this border bill to bring these matters to a head...

She previously sold a smaller Dassault Falcon 50 jet in 2020, after she purchased it in 2012 for $4million. Swift donated the proceeds to charity. It is unclear if Swift is planning to upgrade her fleet just in time for the longest leg of her international tour starts – jetting to Australia to perform on February 16. This comes as it was revealed Swift's lawyers sent a letter to Jack Sweeney, 21, demanding that he stop logging her flights and locations. Sweeney, a junior at the University of Central Florida, has run several accounts that track the flight paths of...

A woman was treated to an asphalt sandwich by an Atlanta police officer after prancing onto the tarmac and then trying to outrun the frustrated cop. Excessive force? Perhaps. But trespassing on an airport ramp is a serious offense. Cop Takes Down Runaway Woman As She Sprints Past Spirit Airlines Plane At Atlanta Airport We don’t know quite why or how the woman got onto the ramp, but we can observe several things based on a pair of videos captured by ground staff: * She’s talking to cops, then decides to skip away before breaking into a run * She...

A PAC associated with Rep. Ken Buck (R-CO), who voted against impeaching DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, could “trigger more blowback from Trump.” NBC News reported on Tuesday that some of former President Donald Trump’s allies and advisers have been stewing over Rep. Matt Rosendale’s (R-MT) likely bid for the Senate to unseat Sen. Jon Tester (D-MT). Many top Republicans have backed entrepreneur and former Navy SEAL Tim Sheehy as Rosendale failed to defeat Tester in the 2018 election cycle, during a time that many other Trump-friendly states such as Florida, Indiana, and North Dakota managed to win their respective elections.

President Joe Biden would veto a proposed standalone aid package for Israel, the White House said Monday, as House Republicans look to tank a long-awaited bipartisan Senate border deal that would include aid to US allies. “The Administration spent months working with a bipartisan group of Senators to reach a national security agreement that secures the border and provides support for the people of Ukraine and Israel, while also providing much-needed humanitarian assistance to civilians affected by conflicts around the world,” the White House wrote in a statement. “Instead of working in good faith to address the most pressing national...

House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) told Breitbart News exclusively that Democrat President Joe Biden’s speech on Tuesday, in which he blamed former President Donald Trump and “MAGA Republicans” for the border crisis Biden created, was “offensive.” “It was offensive,” Johnson said in a Wednesday afternoon phone interview when asked to react to Biden’s address. “I don’t think anyone is buying it. Everyone understands this all changed dramatically when he walked into the White House. Now, we’ve shown, and we continue to show the American people step-by-step, how he and Mayorkas orchestrated this. There is a reason why only 18 percent...

One in three Australian adults has high blood pressure (hypertension). Excess salt (sodium) increases the risk of high blood pressure so everyone with hypertension is advised to reduce salt in their diet. But despite decades of strong recommendations we have failed to get Australians to cut their intake. It's hard for people to change the way they cook, season their food differently, pick low-salt foods off the supermarket shelves and accept a less salty taste. Now there is a simple and effective solution: potassium-enriched salt. It can be used just like regular salt and most people don't notice any important...
