The race for mayor in liberal Pueblo, Colorado, was turned upside down Tuesday when a Republican member of the city council ran for mayor and won. Back in November 2022, city council president and owner of Graham’s Grill and Ruby’s, Heather Graham, announced her run for mayor of Pueblo, Colorado. Graham may have seemed like a long shot, being a Republican in the famously liberal city. “This community that we love has been going in the wrong direction the last few years. I just can’t sit back and do nothing,” Graham said when she launched her campaign, according to The...

The world is not just about snuggling with housebroken puppies and rainbows out your window and riding unicorns bareback. The real world can be terrifying. Just ask former First Lady Michelle Obama. She’s trembling with terror like a princess in a fairy tale being chased by Baba Yaga. And this terror of hers has infected the American news media with even more terror. Which brings us to the Michelle Obama Prophecy. First, please understand that Michelle is terribly afraid that former President Donald Trump will recapture the White House. Her husband’s “Big Guy,” also known as China Joe Biden is...

SIOUX CITY, Iowa -- The topic of arming teachers in schools comes up periodically after shootings take place. Now, one school in Iowa is turning that talk into action and arming staff members, KTIV reported. "About 18 months ago, we just started looking at options. And obviously, to take the step to have armed staff in our school is a big one. And it requires a lot of conversation with a lot of stakeholders," said Siouxland Christian School Supt. Lindsay Laurich. It's a big step in school security. "My ultimate responsibility here is to protect this building to make sure...

US officials do not have the capabilities to defend America against a hypothetical alien invasion, internal Pentagon watchdogs have determined. A newly declassified document found the Department of Defense (DoD) lacks comprehensive or coordinated effort to track and analyze UFOs - which have been rebranded Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAP) in recent years. The Office of Inspector General (OIG) made the eerie conclusion that this blindspot in the DoD's defensive capabilities 'poses a threat to military forces and national security.'

Google's Chrome web browser will soon include a warning that "private" browsing does not prevent users from being tracked, a move that comes months after Google settled a related privacy lawsuit. In December, Google settled a $5 billion privacy lawsuit, which alleged that it spied on people who used Chrome's private browsing — or 'Incognito' — mode. A pre-release version of the browser has been found to include an updated privacy warning that addresses a key piece of evidence in the settled lawsuit — that users "overestimate" the privacy protection features in Chrome. When the change is rolled out, users...

PROVO, Utah — A teen is in troubled waters after he was arrested for allegedly taping fish to ATMs, a police car and other areas around Provo and Orem, documenting his fishy business on social media. The 17-year-old was arrested at the end of December, but police allege he was involved in more than a dozen cases of fish being taped to various areas from August through October. Provo Police told FOX 13 News that while the prank seemed to be done in innocent fun, cleanup started costing money, which is when it o-fish-ally became a crime. Besides ATMs, the...

Trump said he wants to "do it the 'Old Fashioned' way, and finish the process off...

My name is Ryan Samsel. I think I should inform the public with updates about my case and my health, as many of you have inquired. Let me give you a recap and some back story to remind some and inform others. I was scheduled for surgery for a male breast double glansectomy on March 11, 2021. Instead, I was arrested on January 30, 2021, for protesting on January 6, 2021. I told medical staff when I arrived at the jail that I had this condition and that I needed to be placed back on blood thinners. I was denied...

A U.S. Senate committee approved legislation on Wednesday that would help set the stage for the United States to confiscate Russian assets and hand them over to Ukraine for rebuilding after the destruction of the nearly two-year-long war. The Senate Foreign Relations Committee voted 20 to 1 in favor of the unprecedented "Rebuilding Economic Prosperity and Opportunity (REPO) for Ukrainians Act." If it were to pass the full Senate and House of Representatives and be signed into law by President Joe Biden, as expected, the act would pave the way for Washington's first-ever seizure of central bank assets from a...

NEW YORK — A federal jury ordered former President Trump to pay $83.3 million for defaming E. Jean Carroll when Trump in 2019 denied the longtime advice columnist’s accusation that he sexually assaulted her decades earlier. It marks the second time Carroll has won damages from Trump at trial, with the new total adding to a $5 million verdict last year finding Trump liable for sexually abusing Carroll and defaming her over a separate comment. Carroll’s latest trial became intertwined with the heat of the early primary contests, beginning the day after Trump’s historic win in the Iowa caucuses and...

The UN agency for Palestinian refugees said Friday it had sacked “several” employees accused by Israel of involvement in Hamas’s unprecedented October 7 attack on southern communities. The accusation also prompted the United States to suspend critical funding to the organization. The decision was taken “to protect the agency’s ability to deliver humanitarian assistance,” said UNRWA chief Philippe Lazzarini. “Any UNRWA employee who was involved in acts of terror will be held accountable, including through criminal prosecution,” he said. A senior Israeli official told the Axios news site that the Shin Bet and the IDF provided information that pointed to...

Former Reps. Liz Cheney and Adam Kinzinger, hardcore anti-Trumpers and the only two Republicans to serve on the January 6 committee, have both thrown their weight behind Nikki Haley for president. Kinzinger announced on X that he donated $250 to Haley’s campaign even after she lost to former President Trump in the New Hampshire primary. “I just donated $250 to [Haley], I want to make sure I am never invited to that cheap and awful S-hole club called Mar-A-Lago. I don’t want to catch weak victimitis. I’m Thankful that sweaty Don gave us a way to ban ourselves,” said Kinzinger.

The first contest is a state-run primary on Feb. 6. Haley is on that ballot. The second vote is a caucus on Feb. 8, organized by the Trump-friendly Nevada Republican Party, with just Trump on that ballot. Even if Haley wins the primary on Feb. 6, it will be an empty victory, as only candidates competing in the party-run caucus on Feb. 8 can compete for the state's 26 delegates. That means Trump is almost certainly assured to win all of Nevada's 26 delegates on Feb. 8. There is a backstory as to why many of the Western state's voters...
