The UN agency for Palestinian refugees said Friday it had sacked “several” employees accused by Israel of involvement in Hamas’s unprecedented October 7 attack on southern communities. The accusation also prompted the United States to suspend critical funding to the organization.
The decision was taken “to protect the agency’s ability to deliver humanitarian assistance,” said UNRWA chief Philippe Lazzarini.
“Any UNRWA employee who was involved in acts of terror will be held accountable, including through criminal prosecution,” he said.
A senior Israeli official told the Axios news site that the Shin Bet and the IDF provided information that pointed to the active participation of UNRWA staffers along with the use of the agency’s vehicles and facilities in the October 7 terror onslaught.
“This was strong and corroborated intelligence,” the official told Axios. “A lot of the intelligence is a result of interrogations of militants who were arrested during the October 7 attack.”

Yep. When the IDF began clearing Hamas tunnels, they found tons of goods stacked in storage areas with USA logos and UNRWA branding - paid for by USA taxpayers as relief aid to Gaza residents but diverted by UN to Hamas.
This wasn’t one oddball. It was a whole group actively participating.
The UN pretends to be a democratic entity, but because most member states are autocracies, their ideals are fundamentally undemocratic.

One glaring example, Syrian representatives have been on the UN Human Rights Council since Amnesty International, of all groups ranked Syria at the top of their 💩 list of the worst human rights abusers.

To cut to the chase, the UN should be considered a belligerent in this war, sharing the aims of Hamas and giving them aid. If we go back to the Korean War, the UN was listed as a belligerent (check the Wikipedia page). Those countries who helped build up the tunnels and other war machine of Gaza via so called "humanitarian aid" could also be considered belligerents. Maybe these countries should individually give massive amounts aid now to Israel to undo the damage they have done and the danger they have placed Israel in.
What comes along with understanding that the UN is a belligerent is that any UN decision or pronouncement, such as the communications from the ICJ, are of no value and are null and void, as they come from an organization willing to act as an enemy. They are just covering up for active measures they have taken against the State Israel and have no moral basis.
