Look at this linked video at LINK: To Twitter video (CLICK HERE) The migrants are now coming here, in well-organized, perfectly timed, practiced, military precision. Look at the planning that went into that landing. They must have done this many times before. They left their litter, too, according to this Instagram post: "The waves were gnarly and the boat had capsized; the fuel had dumped into the water and you could smell it," a local said. There have been other incidents of migrants landing boats in tony coastal areas in the last few years -- I've seen reports of migrant...

Recent developments in the United States military enlistment criteria have sparked waves of speculation and concern. The United States Navy has taken a surprising turn, dropping all high school diploma and GED requirements for enlistments. The news has raised eyebrows and led a curious citizen journalist to pick up the phone and verify this seemingly unbelievable information directly with the Navy. The conversation with a Navy phone operator unfolded as follows: Citizen Journalist: “I just heard that you guys are no longer requiring GEDs or high school diplomas, is that true?” Navy Phone Operator: “Yes. Apparently, it is, that is...

The upcoming European Parliament elections will see a “sharp turn to the right” as populist parties are projected to be victorious in at least nine EU member states and come in second or third in a further nine countries. According to an analysis of opinion polls in each EU member state in combination with statistical modelling based on the previous performance of national parties, the globalist European Council on Foreign Relations (ECFR) think tank has predicted that right-wing populist parties will come out on top in Austria, Belgium, the Czech Republic, France, Hungary, Italy, the Netherlands, Poland, and Slovakia in...

My wife's sister is a JUCO medical instructor and this new term the college encourages all faculty/student communications to be done via "Google Voice". She related to us some of the capabilities of the app and it all sounded "kinda OK", and had some positive possibilities. My question to this forum: has anyone on here used Google Voice, and if so, are there any caveats?

Gov. Chris Sununu (R-N.H.) said former President Trump is “nervous” because “money is coming” to GOP presidential primary candidate Nikki Haley, whom Sununu has endorsed. Haley has “wind and momentum,” Sununu said in a recent interview with Wolf Blitzer. He also noted a recent threat the former president made about donating to Haley. “The money is coming in to Nikki Haley, and that’s why he’s nervous,” Sununu said. “She’s got momentum in her home state.”

The city of Seattle will pay Black Lives Matter rioters $10 million in a settlement stemming from a lawsuit related to the George Floyd riots in 2020. “This decision was the best financial decision for the City considering risk, cost, and insurance,” said City Attorney Davison, according to Fox News. “The case has been a significant drain on the time and resources of the City and would have continued to be so through an estimated three-month trial that was scheduled to begin in May.” “This settlement resolves the majority of the remaining claims arising out of the 2020 demonstration period...

WASHINGTON. Monday, Jan. 25. TOO SPECULATIVE BY HALF. J. SMITH HOMANS, formerly of New-York City, was dishonorably dismissed from employment in the Treasury Department, for a speculation out of a Welch boy, a sort of private secretary to himself, as editor of the Banker's Magazine, where he got appointed, at a salary of $1,200 a year. The lad was given to understand that his pay was but $600. His natural outcry at accidentally learning that his protector and superior was pocketing every month $50 of his earnings, reached Secretary CHASE'S ears, and led to the instantaneous unsheathing of the sword...

Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) policies used to be relegated to liberal college campuses, but in recent years they have infected virtually every aspect of life in America. These policies are divisive and often racist. Progressives who advance this ideology are taking the country backwards and can’t even see it.In the case of government agencies, particularly when it comes to law enforcement, these policies should be completely rejected, but instead are embraced. in the case of the FBI, these policies are causing the bureau to lower their standards in ways which seem beyond parody. The Daily Caller reports:FBI Hired Barely Literate...

We recently discovered that Google’s ad-serving network is blocking its ads from appearing on a story we published almost exactly three years ago. Google declared that the article violated its terms of service because it contained “Dangerous or derogatory content,” which it defines as anything that: - incites hatred against, promotes discrimination of, or disparages an individual or group on the basis of their race or ethnic origin, religion, disability, age, nationality, veteran status, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity, or other characteristic that is associated with systemic discrimination or marginalization. - harasses, intimidates, or bullies an individual or group of...

The Fulton County District Attorney’s office on Thursday admitted it received two letters from Joe Biden’s White House Counsel amid its Trump witch hunt. This is clear evidence that Joe Biden’s White House is coordinating with Fani Willis’s office. The admission was made during a hearing for former DOJ official Jeffrey Clark. Jeffrey Clark served as the Department of Justice Assistant Attorney General under Trump and was under consideration to be Trump’s Attorney General.

On Thursday, the U.S. government sold the Federal Helium Reserve, a massive underground stockpile based in Amarillo, Texas, that supplies up to 30% of the country’s helium. Once the deal is finalized, the buyer — which will likely be the highest bidder, the industrial gas company Messer — will claim some 425 miles of pipelines spanning Texas, Kansas and Oklahoma, plus about 1 billion cubic feet of the only element on Earth cold enough to make an MRI machine work. Regulatory and logistical issues with the facility threaten a temporary shutdown as it passes from public to private ownership, and...

Christopher Wray is accused of destroying the FBI from within with DEI hiring. According to a new report by an alliance of retired and active-duty agents and analysts given to the House Judiciary Committee, new agents are not only fat and unfit, but some are illiterate and don’t want to work extra hours. Well, at least we know where to cut. We could cut 40% of these agencies and not miss them. Miranda Devine described the report in the New York Post: Diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) requirements pushed by FBI Director Chris Wray have degraded recruitment standards in all...

The Quackenbush .22 rifle was popular a hundred and 20 years ago. Advertisements for the rifles are easily found. They were mostly sold mail order. The prices for the rifles seem modest. A rifle with a wood stock and an 18-inch barrel cost about six dollars. The price of gold was fixed at $20 a Troy ounce. A day laborer might be paid $1 (and fed) for a 12-hour workday. It was the beginning of the petroleum age. While people were far more productive than they had been a hundred years earlier, the industrial age with power machinery, cheap steel, cheap...
