A school board in Pennsylvania has reinstated its district’s Indian mascot a mere month after five new members were elected to the board by campaigning on that very issue.

Four of my nephews are Eagle Scouts. At the camp where they went every summer they had a Tribe of Micosa (sp?) which was very important to them. At one point they each constructed an elaborate Indian costume. I’m glad that they went at a time when that was allowed. I wonder whether it still is. The nephews are now in the 40s. Now the girls are going for Eagle and going to the camp. Sigh.

I have wondered how long leftist California would wait until the cities named after Catholic saints or the Virgin Mary (Los Angeles’ full name is Our Lady Queen of the Angels) are renamed. Los Angeles could be renamed Weinstein City, San Francisco Harvey Milkopolis, San Diego Cesar Chavesville, and Santa Barbara New Leningrad.
