Current events reminded me of these predictions and inspired me to look them up again. If we are currently in "Obama's third term", might Charlie have been correct in his predictions but off target as to timing? Here is an article last updated in 2018 discussing his election 2016 predictions after the fact. The rumors of a possible Michelle Obama run add another twist. It looks like Charlie's original page is gone. August 2, 2015 at 9:30 pm **snip**Donette, I said bluntly on the Birmingham Video that President Obama will not finish his term. I said that he would be...

Things are not going well for Fani. It’s all of her own doing. She has gotten caught in some very unethical and corrupt behavior, allegedly, something she probably didn’t expect to happen. Her current term ends on December 31, 2024. She apparently thought that her high-profile case against the former president would be her ticket to re-election. Now there are calls for her to recuse herself from the case. It’s an ugly intersection of professional malpractice and personal soap opera. As it turns out, Fani hired her boyfriend, Nathan Wade, to serve as a special prosecutor in the case in...

CHICAGO -- Mayor Brandon Johnson is pushing a plan that would end natural gas hookups in new buildings and homes as the city aims to phase out fossil fuels that intensify the climate crisis, but the idea is already drawing resistance from some unions. Johnson plans to introduce a "clean" buildings ordinance Wednesday that would end new gas hookups for cooking, heating and hot-water tanks and require electric power instead. The idea has been kicked around Chicago in recent years. In October 2022, City Hall announced that outside advisers, including advocacy organizations, had recommended a ban as part of a...

A California woman who stabbed a man she was dating 100 times and killed him, before turning the knife on herself and her dog, has been handed 100 hours of community service. Bryn Spejcher, 32, was given the astonishingly low sentence following psychiatrists' ruling that the tragedy was '100 percent' caused by cannabis-induced psychosis, which she suffered after taking two hits of the victim's bong. The judge ruled that Spejcher 'experienced a psychotic break from reality' and 'had no control over her actions' when she killed Chad O'Melia, then 26, on Memorial Day weekend 2018. She will spend the 100...

The Fourth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution reads: "The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized." Nevertheless, like so much else in the Bill of Rights, those sentiments are no longer valid, especially when you're shuffling your way, shoeless and beltless, through the sheep pens of the Transportation Security Administration, George W. Bush's gift...

Gen Z employees have missed a day's work a week due to mental health concerns, new research has shown. Figures reveal that the average office worker feels like they can't work properly due to their mental health for 50 work days per year. This costs Britain's economy a staggering £138bn a year. While analysis by health insurance firm Vitality found that only six of these 50 days were taken off completely as sick leave, staff that did come to work struggled to achieve anything in the office. Stephen A. Smith is calling out Democrats for relying on an octogenarian such as President Biden to beat former President Trump at the ballot box. “It is an absolute disgrace on the part of the Democratic Party — Democrats, liberals … progressives — and you’re begging an 82-year-old man to run for reelection,” Smith said in a Tuesday interview on SiriusXM’s “The Howard Stern Show.” “What the hell have you been doing that in the year 2024 you have to rely on an 82-year-old to beat a 78-year-old man with four indictments, 91 counts against him?” Smith asked. Biden is...

China’s domination of Tibet, dating to 1720, has generated resistance, intermittently violent, down to the present day. The incident at hand here was a November 1750 Lhasa riot sparked by the assassination of Tibet’s prince by China’s plenipotentiary, who had caught wind of the local ruler’s intention to detach his kingdom from Qing domination. The royal chamberlain, Lobsang Trashi (German Wikipedia entry | Dutch) managed to escape the scene and found himself at the head of a furious rabble that sacked the Qing embassy, looted a treasury, and killed dozens of Chinese soldiers — and dozens more Chinese civilians. But...

Sen. Rand Paul sits down with Tucker Carlson on X/Twitter about why he came out as "Never Nikki" in the 2024 election and his book advocating the protection of Dr. Anthony Fauci. SEN. RAND PAUL: It gets to me when I see people who I think care more about the borders of Ukraine than our own Southern border. And I see these people every day because they are the entire Democrat caucus up here, but they are half of my caucus. Half of my Republican caucus is, as we speak, ready to sell out, and they're ready to sell out...

The Arizona Daily Sun failed miserably in trying to discredit The Federalist’s reporting on Democrats’ dark money elections scheme. Legacy media have given Americans plenty of reasons to distrust their hack-tivist “journalism” — and an Arizona outlet’s attempt to discredit The Federalist’s reporting on Democrats’ dark money elections scheme is just the latest example. On Jan. 8, The Federalist published an article detailing Coconino County, Arizona’s collusion with the U.S. Alliance for Election Excellence, an $80 million venture launched in 2022 by left-wing nonprofits to “systematically influence every aspect of election administration” and advance Democrat-backed voting policies in local election offices....
