At least some of them contained fentanyl. Measuring blood pressure while patients are standing rather than sitting may improve the accuracy of readings, researchers report. Their findings could lead to significant improvements in early detection of high blood pressure in healthy adults. UTSW researchers measured the blood pressure of 125 healthy patients ages 18-80 with no history of hypertension, previous use of blood pressure medication, or other comorbidities. A federal judge on Tuesday refused to bring back a class action lawsuit alleging four auto manufacturers had violated Washington state’s privacy laws by using vehicles’ on-board infotainment systems to record and intercept customers’ private text messages and mobile phone call logs.
